My family and myself had great experience from Pierson's Funeral Service, considering the passing of my Father. Everyone one we dealt with was respectful, informative and helpful. They helped making this difficult time as smooth as possible.

We went through a difficult time with our father passing away recently and Katie from Pierson’s funeral home made the entire process very comfortable. The entire staff are courteous and professional. Their humble establishment welcomes many different cultures and their knowledge and understanding of them makes you feel like you are in great hands.

Our family sadly lost both our parents within a year; Dad Feb. 2021 and Mom Feb. 2022. Out of love for their children, Mom and Dad had pre-arranged their funerals entirely through Pierson's Funeral Home in Calgary – MANY years ago.David O. was our funeral director who took care of our family when Mom passed on February 2; he made sure all Mom’s wishes were met and was very supportive, compassionate, and organized when it came to dealing with my siblings and I. Dave O. ALWAYS made time for my family, and promptly dealt with our needs and requests. We appreciated his experience and open communication. David worked very closely with the graphic designer “Nancy” who designed the most beautiful folder that fit Mom beyond words. Nancy was extremely prompt at making changes upon our requests and was very patient as several emails went back and forth until Mom’s folder was PERFECT.The “After Care Service” was greatly appreciated as Government forms can be very confusing when going thru this grieving process.THANK YOU to all the staff involved with Mom's service.The care and attention we received one year ago for Dad was equally as good.Cathy, Jim, Dagne and Janice (Evelyn and Ansgar Christensen Family)

5 STAR SERVICE..This funeral home took care of my friend who passed unexpectedly in Calgary. But my friend and I are from new Brunswick, so his service was in our hometown in New Brunswick 2 months later. I live in the Dominican republic and wanted to attend virtually, when I couldn't find a link anywhere, I called Pierson's funeral home 1 HOUR before the service start time and they called the east coast, got the link onto my friend's obituary on their site and guided me what to do to attend. Absolutely amazing customer service and I'm so grateful I was able to attend the funeral service virtually. Many thanks to the lovely woman who helped me..highly recommend this funeral home!

I am not sure how much expectation we had in our head about what the service and customer service would or should be like, but I can say from the start of the process to the end along with all the wonderful mementos and complimentary inclusions – it has been amazing and truly appreciated. This is the second time in a month we have needed Pierson’s services and they have consistently delivered. My father was able to be laid to rest with the upmost dignity and care. They answered our questions and assisted my sister and I in making our arrangements possible. I was quoted $7000 for a basic cremation from Mountain View, I called Pierson's and was quoted $2700 for the same package, I thought this was a mistake at first. Pierson's staff was very understanding and made it very easy to deal with. I highly recommend them.
