I ordered a battery on line for curb side pickup on Dec 31 2020. The email said wait for a confirmation email to head to the store. I did and arrived at 1:05pm. I called the Hopkins Abe store in Whitby where I was to pick up the order to advise them I was there. An obnoxious person answered and told me that the store was closed. When I asked why he told me it was New Year’s Eve! I asked why are you closed at this time without advising anyone? He told me “it’s on the door!” He then told me he didn’t have to listen or explain anything and hung up.I’m an essential service worker and don’t have the luxury of just closing or not working. Horrible service and just plain wrong attitude and service in these troubling times when we should all be helping each other.

Great place to find items, they had an item in stock that I was having trouble finding locally, let along the price of buying online. Entered the store, showed the item on my phone and the counter lady was quick to find the item on the shelf. Was very happy with the service.

Went there looking for an air filter for an old John Deere lawn tractor. They could not match it up with anything, but that didn't stop them from trying...Had the spark plug I needed. I've always enjoyed dealing with their knowledgeable staff and they frequent sales and promotions are often excellent.
