We have had great service and assistance from the current staff at Motion. Brett, Bree, Drew & Isabelle have gone above and beyond.

Bree and Austin were exceptional putting together our daughter's new bed ! It was a pleasure working with them both today. Such kind souls. Bree has gone above and beyond over the last year getting all our equipment needs met under a tight deadline too.

I have rented 2 pieces of equipment from Motion Courtenay. In both transactions, everyone involved was so responsive. It’s apparent that a lot of effort goes into helping customers out, from the first inquiry to delivery. I highly recommend this business.

Bree has helped me several times over the last few years, she is very professional, kind, caring and thoughtful, whenever I have had a question she always knows the answer if not she will say she will check into it and get back to you, and she always does. She always makes sure I am able to try things out before I decide if it’s right for me, she knows I am on disability and I don’t have an income Bree goes out of her way to help me apply for different grants, she has never made me feel uncomfortable, she listens to all your questions and no question is unreasonable, when she says she’s coming, she always does. I think Motion is an amazing business, they are definitely in the right line of business, they definitely care about people and go out of there way to make you feel like you matter , I have been to other companies who are in the same line of work and they do not compare to motion , I’ve suggested Motion to other people struggling with health issues and they have all been very satisfied, thank you so much Motion you have made my life a lot easier and you have always come through for me.Thanks Sharon

Teo Moon has come to my rescue three times in a bit more than a week, and now I must wait for the part to come in. I can only hope that the supplier will provide the same speedy service as Teo and the crew at Motion!

I have had the pleasure of being helped by Tamar several times now. She is so knowledgeable and understanding and will go the extra mile to help you find exactly what you need. I have purchased a lift chair through Motion and Tamar took the time to measure me and ensure that I got the correct size of chair and one that met all of my needs. The chair has been perfect for me and much better than the one I bought years ago for my mother. I have also purchased a stand up walker which provides much needed support for my back when I walk. Tamar took the time to once again determine my needs and wants and measurements and let me try out the different walkers several times, both in the shop and at home on my regular routes. She spent time going over the pros and cons of the models and there was no pressure on me to decide and purchase. I have also been able to take the walker back for minor adjustments. I have purchased several other small items, some suggested by Tamar for me and others that I have found myself. I would highly recommend this shop and their staff.

I went to the store and made an apt for a scooter tech to come out and look at the scooter as it stopped working. The apt was made about a week and half layer for Wed 3:00. After waiting all day I received a phone call after 3:00 that the tech was unable to come out and the next available time was March 31st at 2 ( a week and a half later ). So it seems that although hours of operation are until 5 the hour and a half left of the day wasn't workable to do a battery check. So 3 weeks to get a tech to come our and look at the battery.

My grandmother needed me to take her to Motion for a specific cushion. She called to get the hours and was told 9 to 5. We go for 930 and it was closed. There are three sets of hours posted on the door.... 830 to 5, 9 to 5 and 10 to 4. We decide to kill some time so I took her to a nearby store....we go back for 10:15...still nobody there. We call the number on the door which turns out to be a number to their Nanaimo and the employee says his boss should be there, I'll call you right back. He calls back...his boss is in a meeting and there is nobody available to come til the afternoon. I get its covid....but maybe you should move to by appointment only. It is hard for seniors to get around and they can get pretty confused. At least narrow your sets of hours down.... I went back that night as I was walking my dog, nobody bothered to listen to my suggestion.

My Friend is in an electric wheel chair and it Quit .A service tek from Motion services came and looked at it said that it needed new battery’s $900.00 There Tec came back with two new battery’s and it was obvious that He had no clue as how to put them in the unit, He said the battery’s went in from the front My friend told him they went in from the back, He put in the new battery’s. No doubt in my mind He never tested the batteries in the first place as the chair was still not working .He then decided that the chair needed the brushes replaced to fix the issue. He said would come back on Monday to pick it up take it to the shop for repairs. All this from a guy that didn’t even know the batteries went in from the back and no doubt even tested them in the first place.I took the old battery to Canadas Scooters they were load tested fine by someone who services this type of stuff and knows what He is doing. I put the old batteries back in the unit. I then unlocked the security lock on the tab controller and the chair works fine. No doubt the Tec did not know how to unlock the unit just wanted to take it to the shop for unneeded Battery’s and brushes.If need be Canada Scooters was prepared to come out fix the unit the same day as I took the batteries in for testing. And if they were not able to fix it on site they would leave him another electric chair to use. Now that how service should workMotion Services left Him stranded (He has no use of His legs and cannot stand) He was stuck in a manual wheel chair and almost got dumped on the floor trying to get in to bed from the manual chair I was holding the chair and it would have gone over had I not been there Did I also mention he Lives alone.How these Clowns at Motion Services were prepared to leave my friend in a situation like this with no chair for three days is totally beyond my comprehension. Almost criminalI would steer clear of them for anything if this is how they treat customers
