Joshua and his crew arrived on time and got straight to work on 3 troubling trees in my back yard. They did an excellent job and cleaned up the debris too! My trees look much better now and I know they are also happier and healthier for the work! I highly recommend Coastal Arborist.

Over the past year Coastal Arborist has done some extensive landscaping - from tree and stump removal, to tree planting, ,trimming, pruning, etc. In addition, they planned and carried out a complete overhaul of 3 existing garden areas. Finally, they put in a complete new flagstone walkway. The existing garden areas needed lots of work including one which required extensive work to ensure proper drainage. The work that they've carried out is absolute top notch! We are immensely pleased with the fabulous results and the level of care and attention that the Coastal Arborist Team have put forth is to be highly commended.We highly recommend Coastal Arborist!!

The service and quality of work by Helena and Josh was excellent from the initial correspondence, site visit, and quote to the progress and completion of the work. Our project was a small and complex landscaping job that involved removing 23 year old vegetation to prepare a pad for a heat pump. Many other companies wouldn't even consider such a small project. Next project is mulching and pruning work and we look forward to The Coastal Arborist assisting us with our all our future yard work.

Joshua and his team understand tree health; when a tree is failing and is at risk to fall. How severe and, when and how to deal with it. His quotes are within 15% on very complex jobs, which is outstanding. They come when they say they will, get the job done, clean up and move on... Best tree service we have ever used.

The Coastal Arborist Tree Care Co. is by far the best in the Comox Valley. Once again Josh and his truly amazing team came out in the freezing cold, snowy weather to save my cat AGAIN. Josh has been caring for my trees for more than two years now and doing a fantastic job. He has expertly handled big felling jobs as we cleared to build and given a lot of solid advice on species, planting and management of danger trees. We wanted to minimize what we removed in order to maintain as much of the character of the land as possible and the Coastal Arborist has been attentive to that objective. They are prompt, efficient and cost-effective. Highly recommended.

I selected the Coastal Arborist based the company’s willingness to establish a plan for our senior citizen complex with many small cottages spread out over 3 or so acres. At the time, I was the board representative responsible for grounds and knew the difficulty of pleasing all the residents. Josh and his crew’s ability to work fast, to clean up the mess, to be pleasant, to work safely in tight situations and to show up as promised, has made the Coastal Arborist our go to tree service, as well as my personal choice.
