Attended Saturday evening mass here (in English) while visiting Ottawa for a family vacation. Not many parishioners there, but the ones that were present seemed friendly. I suspect that their Italian masses (of which they have 2 on Sunday, in addition to 2 more English masses) are busier, but I cant confirm that.

Ciao Amici,my heart goes out to the Italian ppl, and the tragedy unfolding there. I used to Iisten to Italian hour on the Carleton University radio station, although understanding little, now it hurts so much when I hear Italian, I cannot cannot do it anymore. I follow the news and I understand Italian text enough through French, and the pictures tell more than words. Only God can truly help. I believe that if we keep praying in humility, God can and will help. God be with you !

Was visiting family in Ottawa and searching online for a church we could attend during our stay. Search results rated St. Anthony’s church fairly high and, after visiting, I would agree with the given rating!The church is beautiful, the message was clear and preached wonderfully. There weren’t many in the church so it felt private.I was also impressed by the music. There was only one lady who played the piano, violin, flute and sang beautifully for the entire mass!We enjoy finding and attending different churches but we would definitely attend this church again if we stayed in the area.

St Anthonys Church is beautiful. With a grand entrance right from the street up, the fact that its more than a 100 years old, and simply the architecturally look makes it a wow in my books. I may be a little bias because I was baptized here, but regardless it is a really great church. I recommend going to service yourself (Saturday and Sundays @ 5....also with confession before hand Saturdays @ 4:30).

Don't usually review churches but we went in June for the Italian week, and this church organized a beautiful outdoor mass on the steps and street (which was closed to traffic) and then a procession (~parade) around Little Italy. As we got back, a priest who lives there saw us, with our 3 little kids, hot and hungry. We went inside the church to visit and cool down, and the priest brought us cake and cookies and cups of ice water! Seriously, how nice was he??The Mass we attended was in Italian, and it was celebrated with a lot of care and attention to detail. Seems like a great parish.

It's my church. I was baptized there and sing in both its choirs. On a sunny day, our beautiful stained glass windows are breathtaking.
