Momos were okay but tasted stale. Ordered lunch thali and it was dry with two curries and rice. Not worth even $10. Charged me $42. I know there is no other options nearby for Indian or Nepali dishes,I don’t recommend this restaurant. Please drive till London instead.

I can't say enough about the quality of the food at this restaurant. It is exceptional! Service was fantastic. Atmosphere is authentic and low key. It feels like your in someone's home and the food tastes homemade. Prices are reasonable. You really have to try it!

We were travelling from Tobermory on the 3rd of January and found nothing open all the way from Tobermory till Owen sound. Finally after calling most restaurants via Google ( which showed open) and found that none were open, we got though Sabitri.A family run restaurant passed on by an aunt ( who ran it before) this bright and welcoming restaurant made our day even more wonderful.The host was gracious and attentive.Being so hungry we ordered a soup samosas and Momos.They were freshly prepared and tasty.The dal makhanani was vegan which was such a refreshing change as it showed that they make fresh food on order and not made beforehand.As for the Palak : spinach veg we wanted it vegan so no paneer and instead the chef made it by my request, Lasooni Palak or garlic Palak.This was super delicious and so fresh.It’s another feeling eating such fresh food.A must visit if passing by Owen sound.Vegan vegetarian options available.Great service and delicious food.

A few friends and I were passing through Owen Sound and chanced upon this restaurant. They have a nice patio but because it was afternoon, it was not operational. Inside, the restaurant has a simple decor. The menu is extensive - mostly North Indian. We ordered lamb vindaloo, daal and chana. As starters we ordered mantos. Everything tasted exceptional especially when eaten with fresh tandoori rotis that they prepared in their kitchen. The restaurant is run by a Nepalese family who provide exceptional service.

Dog-friendly patio, great tasting food and friendly service. We drove for an hour from blue mountains for lunch because there was no good Indian restaurant allowing dogs on their patio around. Worth it!

What a great spot. The service and the food were fantastic. Had the butter chicken and beef curry platters. Enough to feed two adults and a toddler. Our son enjoyed the food so much he was dancing in his seat. Highly recommended. Can't wait to come back and try the other options on the menu. Thank you Sabriti's for a lovely meal.

Not much to look at but holy cow the food was AMAZING. Flavourful without being pointlessly hot. The momos just BURST with flavour. The chicken nehtanji (sp?) also great. Food came quickly and service was super friendly. Coming again asap for sure!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sabitri’s that exceeded all my expectations. Not only was it reasonably priced, but the food was incredibly tasty and delicious. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, allowing me to explore different flavors and aromas. The ingredients were fresh, and the spices were perfectly balanced, creating a symphony of flavors in every bite. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations. Excellent place in the historic owen sound neighborhood. The hosts are very friendly and inviting. The menu was a mix of Indian and Nepalese. We got some samosas, Biriyani, Lamb curry and Nepalese spicy naan. The Biriyani was unlike the Biriyani we were used to and tasted good in its own way. Turns out spicy Nepalese naan isn’t spicy. Infact it had ground fennel seeds and honey over your regular naan. The lamb curry was also mild and not too spicy. Overall, the food tasted great given the location and the streets are awesome to walk around after your lunch/dinner.
