Riggins Family BBQ
SIdes (fries, cole slaw, and corn bread) were disappointing, but the meat (we had ribs, brisket, lamb, smoked sausage) is the best in the city. Not too sweet, perfectly cooked, tender, perfectly smoked. I would just buy the meat next time, make my own salad at home.

What a hidden gem! We had such a nice experience this afternoon at Riggins Family BBQ. We ordered the 1/2 lb brisket sammi with fries. Absolutely delicious and absolutely huge! It was plenty for two of us. We also had a two glasses of white wine and they have a few beer options. Really friendly service. And they deliver cold packaged meats to heat yourself and eat at home. Wish I had known about this place sooner! Will recommend to friends for sure!

We ordered this and got a meat platter with 2 sides. Sooooo absolutely beyond disappointed! The side were the size of 2 small poutine (1star) Was ok nothing special, the BBQ WAS THE MOST Underwhelming I have ever had! After reading reviews I expected so much! Save your hard earned money!You will get 3 small single bone rib pieces, jerk chicken was barely touched. 2 little pieces of brisket dry and nothing to talk about, the mushrooms were soggy and gross. To say the least we had McDonald’s for dinner. Don’t know if it was a bad day for the cook but not acceptable. 135$ would be a 1 person meal.*Ordered through Uber*

My fiance Rita and I got married on May 28th of this year and we had Pat Riggins and his amazing staff cater our special day. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. To say that they are anything short of professional is an understatement, especially considering what happened to them only days before our wedding (house burnt to the ground) and yet put out the spread of delicious food that they did, was very impressive. Stubbled upon this place today on my way home from a walk. Ordered the brisket sammi. I can legit say I’ve never had brisket this good in Ottawa before. This is right up there with what I’ve had in Austin Tx. Can’t wait to try out the other menu items.

Great family owned business. My son is very allergic it poultry and they take extra measures to ensure my son is safe eating here. Very friendly staff and amazing food! Pic include is Pitina. Truly amazing get some if you can!!!!!
