Outstanding math school and greatly dedicated staff!I have learned so many valuable math skills at TMA in the past years, helping me achieve marks over 95% for math in my high school classes.This math academy changed my life and the skills I learned highly assisted me in school this year.The way of teaching, coupled with the clear, concise explanations provided are top of the line and many of these advanced math skills, including trigonometry and advanced functions courses are critical for a university application.Having these skills as early as entering high school was so useful and beneficial to me.I could not have gotten these high marks in school and participated in math contests without the support and incredible commitment to teaching from Ms. Vatamanu and TMA schools.I would highly recommend TMA schools to any student without a doubt and I am certain you will enjoy this advanced math club!

A very organized and succinct teaching method that has helped me tremendously with school and more. The teachers are charming and kind but most importantly find easy and clear ways for the students to understand. I would definitely recommend the academy for anyone who wants a leg up in their career path.

Words cannot describe how much Toronto Mathematics Academy has helped me achieve my academic goals. My siblings and I have been going for many years now, and the amazing teachers never fail to teach us new concepts very clearly with many helpful examples and clever strategies. I am pleased to say that this place has helped me achieve many mathematics awards, with grades that range from 95-100 in my math course in high school. I would be nowhere near as successful without TMA, and highly recommend this location to those who seek a great tutor to either catch up on work, or work ahead of the school curriculum to have an easier time in high school.

Miss V has helped me achieve my goals over the last four years. I am so grateful for her guidance and teaching. Before I started with Viva Math, I was struggling, but in one year with the school, my mark increased by 20 per cent. I attended the Toronto Mathematics Academy from levels 5 - Calculus. I loved the program because it taught me good habits. The concepts were clearly explained during class. In school, I was able to excel in math thanks to this program and Mrs. V.

I have been going to Toronto Mathematics Academy for years and I am thankful for all of the hard work and efforts the teachers provide for their students. I had an amazing experience attending Toronto Mathematics Academy for over 5 years. I joined the advanced mathematics program in grade 2 and was placed to Level 6. Now I'm completing the last course, AP Calculus, being a grade 6 student. What I appreciate most about TMA is the well-organized and in-depth course material.TMA has helped me move forward and achieve my goals. I had a fantastic experience at this school. I have participated in many math contests nationally and internationally and got outstanding results.Some of my achievements: Gold for the International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO) in 2021, First Canadian Global Scholarship winner in 2021, Global Math Olympiad Scholarship winner two times in a row (2021 - Grade 4 & 2022 - Grade 5), COMC - Silver in Canada, Gold in Ontario, and Gold in Central Ontario, qualified for Canadian Junior Math Olympiad (CJMO), was invited to the Canada Math Camp 2022 as one of the best CJMO performers, AMC 10B - 5th place in Canada & 29th place in the world being a grade 5 student (in the top 0.11% in the world), qualified for AIME two years in a row, qualified for USAJMO, Canadian Champion and USA Champion (perfect score) many years in a row for contests like Gauss, Mathematica, CNML, Math Olympiads and others.TMA completely shaped me into who I am today. I am extremely thankful to Valeria Vatamanu, the principal of TMA, for all that she has done for me. She has not only helped me enhance my mathematical abilities but has also provided invaluable support in my life outside of school. Her dedication, guidance, and support have made a huge impact on my life. She has truly gone above and beyond in helping me reach my full potential. She continues to guide me towards achieving my goals.I wholeheartedly recommend TMA to any student seeking an exceptional educational experience.

I was a student at TMA from Level 3 (third grade) all the way to their final program of Calculus (completed while I was in the tenth grade). While a student at TMA, I was able to become Canadian Champion of the Euler math contest and have great success in other contests and schooling during and after my time there, thanks to the Academy.I’m incredibly grateful for TMA, Mrs. V, and her teachers who always supported students and were able to help them understand complicated subjects easily. This included providing clear teachings and relevant examples for complicated subjects.The skills and subjects I learned at TMA helped me go through high school math courses with ease, earning very high marks and getting into top university programs. TMA gave me the ability to feel confident about entering university, and I frequently referred to my TMA notes while in high school.I think it’s a true testament to Mrs. V’s teaching skills that students can be able to study subjects years ahead of their school grade and understand them.I’m so glad that I was a student at TMA and Mrs. V played a big role in my academic success.

The Toronto Mathematics Academy and Viva Math is one of the best math tutoring schools in the city! I highly recommend to anyone who wants to go.I have been a student since I was 9 and a half years old, and I started in Level 5 (doing grade 7 math while in grade 5) and I just recently finished the Calculus course in grade 10 at the age of 15. I have always been ahead of my classmates thanks to the wonderful lessons taught by our teacher, Ms. V. I have been able to achieve the highest marks in my class, and I am never stressed out when it comes to math. The course has taught me countless different formulas and strategies to solving high level high school and university math questions. The material is very organized, and a high level of dedication was put into it. I love how the teacher is always asking if students have questions, and you will never be left wondering how to do a question. I have been able to participate in numerous Waterloo Contests, and achieving Top 20%.I am so grateful for having such a wonderful teacher, and the principal of TMA, Valeria Vatamanu who has made such a big impact on my life. I will never forget what an amazing person she is since I have spent almost every week in the last 6 years with her doing math.I strongly recommend TMA for anyone wanting to pursue further mathematical knowledge.Thank you for everything Ms. V.

My daughter is a student at TMA for 7 years now and I highly recommend this school.The program is well structured, progressing in difficulty, with a variety of examples to illustrate each chapter. Ms. Vatamanu’s passion for teaching and her clear explanations help the students better understand Math and apply logical thinking so many of them have excellent results not only in school but in various contests and Olympiads.
