Average Airport with less maintained facilitiesThe airport is well connected with public transportation and by road. Being an international airport, they should really improve their facilities to that level. It's good for a domestic airport though. The washrooms are less kept and they really need to improve the staff training to ensure that the airport is up to the mark.

Small regional airport with all facilities. Checking in was fast and security screening was quick and efficient. Many amenities on site including car rental and food options.

The airport itself is good. Very nicely laid out, easy to navigate and there is a nice little café where you can get snacks and drinks if you're waiting. The long-term parking is a reasonable price which was a pleasant surprise. All in, it's a great airport and the experience is very positive.My only complaint is with the fact that the airlines themselves don't have a direct line to customer service within the airport itself. It would be nice to be able to speak to a representative about any issues that come up but that doesn't seem to be the case. That is not a complaint so much with the airport as it is with how air travel seems to be structured.

Ontario's 3rd busiest airport is a primary hub for access to North Western Ontario as well as a gateway from South & West flights. Air Canada, Porter, West Jet, Bearskin and Wasaya are a few of the regular air services available. Rental car companies are onsite.

There are many capable people in the city , find something suitable who can really help , he is useless . I really need help with my luggage , however he denied and start using his phone , he doesn’t even have manners and professional communication , i do not even know how they find these kinds of human beings those who do not know how to treat their guests and all , first and the last experience at thunderbay airport , poor service . Not coming back anymore here .

Enjoy flying in and out of YQT.We move quickly thru security. Staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonable catering services for the airports size. Lots of reasonably priced parking.

Very friendly staff. Even when our flight was canceled due to weather, the staff was courteous and as helpful as they could be given the amount of upset passengers they had to deal with. Small, quaint airport with many different charters available in addition to commercial airlines like Westjet, Air Canada, Porter, Bearskin and others. Since it's small, you don't have to be there 2 hours before boarding.

Small airport, super efficient and everyone was friendly. The cards to carry you luggage are free (the states it's $5us). Food and gates up stairs luggage and check in on the first floor. Everything was super easy to find ,signage was proper and everything worked. Not crowded and crazy like most big airports. I like ten airport and the area. The fishing was great and in August the weather was phenomenal.
