Great support for adults who need assistance. However, they have very limited resources for children and teens, regarding counselling, if any at all. It’s very unfortunate, as some situations will affect the children more than their parent.

They gave me and my children shelter when I ran from domestic violence. The rooms were well furnished and beautiful. I felt very comfortable. The food was good. All the counselors were very good. And my community counselor, Tracy was exceptional. I gained my self esteem and was able to face my abuser with her help. Thank you to these great people.

They saved my life. I am forever grateful. They gave me the tools to keep safe and move forward with my life.

I used this service many years ago to escape and will never forget the positive support I received by one individual in this program in and out of the shelter. After returning for support over a decade later experiencing chronic abuse with the same co-parent, counseling for my child was useless refusing to discuss abuse and with no education or advocacy as my child continues to choose abuse with peers and the abusive parent being manipulated and well educated by the abuser, and the organization has no effect or attempt to support on the chronic abuse I continue to resist for 13 years of their life though I've never returned to the relationship. Counselors wouldn't even let me have address chronic co-parenting abuse" be one of my goals and made excuses why not. I had to choose completely different ones and by the end end I saw no change in my fake goals unrelated to abuse and hard truth is I still have to die to escape abuse as my only option to "get away".No one helps prevent or stop abuse once you move away from the relationship no matter how much physical evidence you have to show for it.Abuse is legal and you and your children are allowed to be abused. Don't expect to escape by moving away
