If you can afford thoudands of dollars to maybe find out whats wrong with your pet, thats great your gonna need it. You gotta pay for all the equipment in the building apparently. Just as a comparison you can get a really nice hotel room for 500 dollars a night, this vet wants to charge almost 2000 to keep a pet for 1 night. If your just an average person you should find a cheaper place because the only thing you will be able to afford is to put your pet down and even that cost alot of money.

Lately it has become very stressful to visit this place. The burden of bringing your pet out of their normal habitat is already stressful but on top of that… they try to sell you almost everything they have “on the menu”. Time to look for another vet!

Fast service when I need last minute food for my cat. I call them when I'm at their door, they bring the pay machine to the door and give me my purchase! Super friendly and helpful!Recently, I brought a potcake back from Costa Rica. The staff, technicians and vets are extremely efficient with little Rico. I have much confidence at Bayview.

I’ve been taking my dog here since I moved to Ottawa a year ago. The staff and doctors here are very friendly. I like that the doctors never try to push a treatment on the clients. They give multiple options and you can choose which one you are comfortable with.The vet techs are very friendly and explain the medications and answer any questions very patiently. They’re prompt to respond to calls or emails which makes them very approachable. They also have a pet plan for clients that includes a bunch of benefits and reduces cost of vet visits.Overall very happy with this clinic.

My Westie Nellie tore her claw while running in the back yard. Her back paw started bleeding immediately. Took her to Bayview Animal Hospital and they were fully booked and short staffed that day. When they saw how much her paw was bleeding, the vet tech quickly bandaged up her paw while the receptionist fed me phone numbers of emergency vet clinics where i eventually found one who could see her. She is now bandaged up and recovering . Thanks so much to Bayview for being so incredibly kind!

I have been bringing my cats and dogs to this practice for 14ish years. The staff is wonderful, I have never felt rushed. Dr Elder is our vet, he goes above and beyond to help our pets. I have cried so many times in front of him and he is so understanding. To those who complain about vets being expensive, the care and skill we have received is worth every penny. I don't care the cost, I will pay anything to receive this kind of care.

Pleasant front desk staff!HOWEVER!It is my belief we got hugely ripped off as new puppy owners. They did NOT specifically diagnose the problem but suggested a myriad of expensive tests to address what they THOUGHT MIGHT be the problem. $1300 wasted!Would definitely not recommend.

I like using this vet clinic. They have cat rooms with feliway that keeps my cats calmer, and have always been clear and professional.I lost a pet early this year and appreciated their support in that endlessly.They also have an app that can be used to ask questions about your pet. I’ve referred several family members and friends to use this vet.
