Very good soup dumplings/ Xiao long bao and Dan Dan noodles. I also recommend trying the crispy Radish and Ham Pastry. The beef buns are juicy and soft. If you go in a big group, just try different types of foods. Most of them are tasty. I haven't found a 2nd place that sell delicious soup dumplings in Edmonton. So this is where I go if you ask for soup dumplings.

Hot, fresh and delicious! We ordered takeout from Shanghai 456 tonight and it was wonderful.The ginger beef is the best we’ve ever had in Edmonton: it was spiced perfectly, had a lovely tang and a depth of flavour not normally seen in ginger beef dishes. And it stayed crispy long after my partner had initially picked up our order.The rest of the dishes we chose were equally tasty: XLB (pork soup dumplings), wonton soup with noodles, spring rolls (our kids loved these!), the lightest and crispiest salt and pepper squid, green onion cake and pan fried beef soup dumplings.So so good. Highly recommend!Pictured is the salt & pepper squid which surprisingly also contained tofu. It was a good surprise!

Got some takeout from here while on a business trip. Food was prepared quickly, good portions and fairly priced. Was packaged well and remained hot and tasty when I made it back to the hotel.

Edit: I had to take off one star from my original review. I went back the second time and the server was different from the first time I went there. The first time I came here the server was a younger lady that had a great happy attitude and was so welcoming. The second time I came back it was an older lady. This older lady kept rushing us to order and seemed annoyed with everyone that came inside.First review: Delicious food and great service. Our server was very welcoming and made the whole dining experience worth 5 stars.

I want to talk about one thing at this restaurant, Xiao long bao, it is impressive here. So we’ll made. I could taste the time effort and love put into these dumplings. These are definitely the best in Edmonton. If you have never tried them, please do so. Everything else here will not disappoint you at all. It is just that I have had Xiao long bao at restaurants throughout Alberta and these ones are my favourite by far and high above any other I have had. My mouth waters for them at the very thought!

The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and the service was excellent. The food is delicious, well priced, and comes in big portions. We got the dinner for 2 and were very satisfiedHighly recommend coming here for some terrific Chinese food.

This place is fabulous! Foods are delicious! This is the second time we tried this restaurant, recommended definitely!The sesame dessert is very yummy with lots of fillings!Love the steamed shiu lao bao here!Spicy dumplings are very delicious as well!would definitely recommended to my friends!

A hidden gem on the west side. Known for their soup dumplings and other steamed dumplings. Homemade and fresh made everyday. Absolutely delicious and comforting.Excellent service and friendly staff will definitely a repeat when we're in town again!

Something more unique in the west end, we love XLB (soup dumplings) and my toddler sips the soup with the dumpling like a champ. Fast service for the weekend

My family got the set dinner for 6 and added pan fried beef dumplings and lamb soup dumplings. Everything was tasty. My favorites are the pan fried beef dumplings and crispy marinated duck. Please try it!!
