Honestly one of my favourite restaurants in London. Food is authentic and so tasty. Staff are nice and the service is quick. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. If you want proper Malaysian food I definitely recommend C&R.

Just off Rupert street in a side Alley. It has a no booking policy-Not the best selling point, as it was already almost full at 1215 at ground levelInterior is minimalist clean and bright with with tiles if the skyline of Kuala Lumpur andLondon.A large selection of Malaysian food of offer-More of the Chinese Malaysian.Opted for the Wat Tan Ho. It had large flat noodle with seafood in a starchy sauce made of egg. It was average- had to get some chilli oil to make it more flavoursome.Teh Tarik was ok-at £4 it is overpriced! It comes hot or cold. It’s also average - too sweet and tea component could be stronger!Service was ok.

Food portion was huge but flavours can be bolder- especially the sambal chilli and coconut pandan rice. Singapore laksa also tasted more like curry noodle. Still a good restaurant to satisfy MSIA / SG crave

Still the best place in London for seafood noodles - the Wat Tan Ho is legendary. Been coming here the past 15 years and still as good as ever. Priced extremely reasonable and quick service.

The Malaysia food were bold and authentic. I quite enjoyed while some of the items were a bit spicy for my personal taste. The staff were also friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

*Singaporean laksa = the broth tasted like coconut milk and sugar, not cooked and no flavour. More noodles than broth.*Pad thai= smelt of burn frylan*Sweet Roti = Indian parata, not authentic Malaysian roti* teh tarik = cold, tasted of cream mixed in tap hot water and sugar (they didn't charge as it was awful)We would takeaway any leftover but it wasn't worth it. The worst Malaysian we've ever had. We were hungry yet couldn't eat half the food. What a waste of ingredients and money.

Stumbled across this Malaysian restaurant which is hidden in a small alleyway just beside the bustling area of Chinatown. And to our surprise, the food was really good! We only tried their Singaporean Laksa and Char Kuey Teow but based on those 2 dishes, we are looking forward to trying their other menu!

Always love coming here and reminds me of Uni days. Has remained a great place to eat and good quality food after over 10 years. Admire that this restaurant has stayed open despite all the other restaurants closing in Chinatown and Covid.Highly recommend for a cheap bite and it’s not as busy as some of the other places on the main street of Chinatown.
