Sam was amazing to work with! I’m very particular with line work, so I did quite a bit of research before I came across Blaqtaffy and was very impressed with his clean lines and techniques! I reached out and he was prompt in response and getting me booked, and I couldn’t be happier so far with his work! Super excited to continue working with him going forward on many projects I have planned!

Sam is spectacular and so easy to work with! He had a low price range to work with but Sam was able to get me a great size and design! He responded super quickly to my appointment request and worked through the whole process with me. Will certainly recommend to any who ask!!!

I've been wanting a good quality artist to do a corpse bride portrait for me for years now and was very happy to work with Sam. I definitely made the right choice! I've worked with a few other artists in the past and felt that some didn't take the time to really get a sense of what I was specifically looking for. Sam was very thorough and made sure I got the exact look I was going for! I will be getting much more ink from him in the future!!

sam is an awesome guy, super easygoing and kind. i’ve had a few tattoos in my time but this was the best work i’ve had done hands down. his prices are fair and i cannot stress the quality of his work. i will be recommending him to anyone who asks

IMO, Blaq Taffy is THE go-to tattoo shop in Grand Forks. My first trip into the shop was for a piece that would cover up an old tattoo and incorporate art for my son and youngest daughter. Sam was able to come up with the perfect piece for the cover. After this portion was completed, I thought I would go ahead and turn it into a half sleeve, again, he came through with some great ideas and flawless execution. You won't regret booking with Blaq Taffy!
