I recently bought a new mattress from the Sleep Country located just off of 130th SE in Calgary. I’ve always been a bit leery of buying from Sleep Country as I had some bad experiences a few years ago with pushy sales people and I felt their prices were a bit high. Not this time, I dealt with Ed at this location, not only did he provide me with great advise but he guided me to a mattress that I’m extremely happy with for a good price. No pressure, no sales tactics … his primary concern was getting me a bed that I would be happy with for a good price. I honestly couldn’t be more pleased with my experience with this location and Ed. If you’re in need of new mattress I would strongly recommend going by this location and ask for Ed!

We have been to this store 2 times in the process of trying to buy a mattress. The first time the sales person was clearly not interested in helping us or he would not take us seriously so we barely got any answers to our questions and we just tested the mattresses we thought could work for us. That was not good. The second time the gentleman was much more willing to help and offered some good information (white man, heavy built, in his 60s). Nice guy, and even though he had other customers there at least he took the time to answer our questions. Ultimately we ended up going to Mattress Mattress and the brick right there on 130th and they were much more willing to help us, in fact they offered great customer service, and their product offers were similar and better. We ended up buying from the brick as the service was great and they had the best mattress for us.

Edit. Its been more than a month since i sent in the email but nobody has got back. No wonder the support team is the same as the store.We bought two pillows from this location for around $400 two months ago. Recently they started to sag and became really soft. We were in the market for some mattresses and my wife spoke with their customer service regarding availability of a particular one. She mentioned to them about our pillows and the rep advised us to immediately take them to a location and if it's a defect then they will be replaced as they are supposed to have some sort of warranty on the product. We went and the gentleman working there did not even touch them to look at them and denied doing anything about them.His exact words were 'customer service would tell you anything you want to hear so they are not on the phone with you for 20 minutes'. He had a smug smile on his face the whole time. His behavior made us feel so cheap asking for it. He told us we bought them two months ago and we had our run with them. There is nothing that can be done.Now if it's a company policy I understand and I would not even ask for it but we went there because your customer service told us. The complete lack of empathy and customer service in the whole conversation was mind blowing to me. So I advise everyone to not buy from this particular location. We have been sleep country's customers for a long time and have always had good experience at other locations. This particular one has left a bad taste in our mouth. They would not back their products if there is any issue.

Edward is absolutely amazing. He will go far out of his way for you to get you the best prices and best deals. He is a kind man an you will be made to feel like family. He really knows his stuff. I trusted him from start to finish and he made the experience very positive.

Bought a $3500 queen mattress set her that was on sale for $2000. At the time i asked if i could purchase an extended warranty as we wanted to be sure any defects werecovered. They said no extended warranty was available as their 'warranty' covered all defects.Now three years later when wife and i lie down we sink down about 5 inches through pillow top into hard mattress with no support in the body impression.Submitted warranty claim to Sleep Country. All done online. As the body impression is only 1.5 inches when no one is lying on it its not covered. They wont send anyone out to look at it personThey got me for $2000. Our previous mattress was $1000 and lasted 9 yrs. I ll never shop at Sleep Country again. Warranty is meaningless and cant buy extended warranty to actually cover a defect.

The sales people here don’t ever seem interested in helping out and sound irritated when you ask a question. The few times we have gone in, they have never been properly staffed, and when you walk in, they don’t greet you or even make eye contact (even if the store is empty with no other customers)
