I am very disappointed with the way Christine has handled us as a client and alas also with the way she has been handling my dogs. One is a Golden Retriever and her trimming etc. is pretty straight forward and has been okay. The other is a cockapoo and I have not been happy with the way she has been trimmed during the past 4 years. In spite of pictures, descriptions etc. of how I wanted it, my dog turned out like a thingy with little sticks for legs and a snout like a bird beak. I have not been able to trim my dog myself, but this looks like you just put the shaver on the dog and go around till there is no hair left. Anyway, the straw that broke the camel's back was the other day: we were 10 minutes late because of an accident on the Q.E.2 that caused the traffic to slow down to a crawl. 10 past 9, the door was locked, the lights out and nobody answered my phone call. Tried several times again, but no answer. Tried again around 4 when she is supposed to be done: no answer. I wrote a message, asking what was going on: no answer. I find this so rude, and decided not to go back to Barks and Bows. Would definitely not recommend her to another person.

We have been good customers for over a year. Twice we have taken our dogs there to find the place closed, the owner NOT turning up or notifying us. The dogs had to be there in the morning and usually don't get them back until 3 or 4 ! This business has SERIOUS management problems. I have found another groomer and will NEVER go back to this one. I highly recommend NOT using this business. We were good customers NOT any MORE
