Tom and his staff at Classic Video are the best! They are friendly and helpful, and their selection of movies, from the popular releases to the obscure cult films can't be beat. Well worth the trip downtown.

20 years ago when my mom and I moved downtown I had the pleasure of going to classic video and renting a new release or a tv series. Thank you for being a staple in Kingston. Classic will be missed but it will live on in our memories.

It is the only game in town now but even when it was not...it still had the best selection, especially if you like older films...1940s and on and even some older ones as well as foreign films, collections such as TV shows and documentaries and of course current releases. Great prices too, especially on non current DVD.

I really realized how special this place is after moving away from Kingston. I haven't found anywhere like it and it's wonderful to be able to have the option of choosing almost any movie or TV show from one place. There is stuff there that you wouldn't find even with all the subscription services combined. Friendly staff, great selection and location. And when you think of the price of a Netflix subscription, I could get over 9 dvds/blue rays a month from Classic for less. One of the big downsides of moving away, this place is a gem!

I love this place. I hope it stays around for as long as possible in our technologically advancing world. Their prices are amazing, and they have almost any movie or tv series you can think of. & it is a much better experience renting movies from here, than using Netflix. I'm glad to support CV, and the people here are very kind and helpful (I ask them to find my movies for me almost every time I go in, and they never hesitate to help!)

The gentleman that works there, he may be the owner, is really friendly and great to talk to. Having to move back to Kingston it's nice to see a video store that still exists for those that wants to rent movies, even the older classics back in the days. Lots of great assortments to choose from. I could spend hours in there just browsing the titles available.
