The staff are very caring and concerned about your kids. They do a good job meeting their needs especially Ann she has done an amazing job with my son. He's reading a lot better and is more confident in his studies.

Our experience at Sylvan Learning (Scarborough), has been exceptional. The teachers are truly invested in my children’s education and their growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student. Small class sizes and leveled learning have enabled my children to gain confidence in their learning abilities.The administration is open minded and very flexible, and think outside the box to make Sylvan Learning, a successful educational experience for the students. Sylvan, is committed to the whole child, they teach value lessons, communication and leadership skills.Sylvan not only gives you the liberty of pausing/freezing/quitting your account whenever you want on a one day short notice, without costing you a fortune but also don’t charge you for the classes you don’t attend, what else could a parent wish for, it’s a dream come true!!!!Education has been a very positive experience for our family!Regards,Dr.Saba Furqan.

I'm very happy with my sons progress with Sylvan. When he first attended Sylvan he was significantly behind in English. With Sylvan's assistance my sons comprehension, vocabulary and writing skills improved. I'd highly recommend Sylvan, they have flexible pricing available as well.

I recommend this place for anyone who needs tutor for their kids. I enrolled my daughter on March because she is having hard time on her classes. She is new to Canada. Her time with Sylvan since she started has helped her a lot in her class. She learned to do all her homeworks on her own and shes improved so much in just 3 months. Well done Sylvan and thank you for helping her. We appreciate it.

Totally useless if I’m being honest. My children each had a different representative. One was very engaging with my youngest but spent the whole session going over simple things that she knows. There was no real learning. I shared the feedback but nothing changed.My second child has special needs but was met by an enormous woman who seemed to struggle to exist. She was as engaging as a dead rat. I didn’t share this feedback.The dollars spent are better repurposed on almost anything else.

I have twin brothers that go to Sylvan for math help. They have given me extremely positive feedback. They love the way the instructors explain each question and guide them through the process.They have highly experienced staff, including their Director of Education who was a ex-vice principal for the Toronto District School Board.They use IPAD's for their regular programs, and they'll contact the school on your behalf.This location is open 7 days a week! and they have flexible payment plan's as well which make's it easy to afford the services.Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Many thanks to all the ever so kind staff. Mark is my special needs son who was very behind his grade level. He learned so much and is still continuing to learn. Mr. Toshif Patel was and is always accommodating with regards to Mark’s many programs and flexibility is a must. But the best thing about this Scarborough Sylvan; is the fact that they are able to tutor a special needs child like my son. Thank you, Mr. Patel. Thank you, Ann and everyone❌

There is no option for a no star. I took my 2 kids here to get tutored. My kids first complaint is the smell of the place. It has a disgusting smell. The second complaint my kids are saying is that one of the teacher name Ann keep shouting and yelling at the other teachers. I have pulled out my kids after one day. Good luck!

My daughter has been at Sylvan Scarborough for about a year and a half for math. When she first started she was below grade level and the very idea of math brought tears to her eyes. She is now above grade level, averaging an A and math brings a huge smile to her face ... Can't thank Anne and the rest of the staff at Sylvan Scarborough enough!

The staff is very helpful and kind. They work with all types of children. They even make a custom program for your child and have follow up appointments with parents to see how much your child has progressed from before and during the program. There is no better tutoring place compared to Sylvan. On top of that all of the teachers are Ontario certified with a ton of experience which is super rare to find in tutoring places these days. I highly recommend this place to any parent with kids that are struggling with school. They change the children's I can't do it" mentality to "I can do it". I love Sylvan Learning."
