Jeff built me a shelter for my horse. The construction is beautiful - no detail left undone. Its sturdy and will keep my horse (and his friends) dry and out of the wind this winter, and cool and shady next summer. Jeff is great to work with - res ponsive, good communication, and really wants to make sure your project is exactly how you want it. I recommend his work to anyone, and expect I will hire him for any future horse or home jobs I have.

Jeff Senecal Jr came out to my house to give us an estimate on a cabinet/counter install. We liked him right away, very friendly and seemed competent.He came out at the agreed upon date and began work. This is where it gets sticky, my house is old and about an inch out of level side to side. We already knew this and had discussed it at the consult. Jeff decided the best way to level out the difference was to over-shim the cabinets to a non-standard height without discussing it with the homeowners - one of which was home at the time.When I returned from work it was pretty obvious that the entire kitchen had been raised up and it does not look good. We called Jeff right away and he tried to blame my BF (who was home at the time) saying he approved the weird height, what my BF agreed to was shimming the cabinets level *as discussed at the consult* Jeff didn't feel the need to mention that he wanted to shim them 2 inches too high. Jeff was supposed to come back at 2pm the following day to finish the install and instead showed up at 10am unannounced, declared he will not be fixing the cabinet height and quit on the spot. He cashed the deposit check we had given him in good faith and has ignored our request to return the money.I reached out to Petra this morning and spoke to Jeff Sr, he informed me that he had no knowledge of the project, didn't know who I was and hung up on me, TWICE.I am now stuck with an unfinished, unacceptable kitchen, a company that doesn't stand behind it's work and either a whole lot of my time an effort to fix it myself or I can try to find a new, trustworthy contractor to do the job right.I'm very disappointed in this entire interaction, especially since we initially liked Jeff Jr so much.0/10 do not recommend.*Please note this review also appears under Petra Plumbing & Heating as Jeff told us he works with his father and Petra's website specifically mentions kitchen & bathroom renovations in their list of services provided.*

Jeff is extremely skilled, competent, responsive, reliable and professional in all aspects. He promptly communicates in all phases of planning and in all phases of projects. I have hired Jeff for several projects and will continue to for all upcoming jobs. I highly recommend him!

We hired Jeff to finish our bathroom in our 100 year old house. Needless to say, there were some unexpected surprises. Not only did he solve all of the problems, but he provided multiple solutions, an estimated time, and a price for each. He was very knowledgeable and provided his recommendations for each issue that arose. He finished the job on time and at the price that he quoted, even with the random issues that a 100 year old bathroom can present. I HIGHLY recommend Jeff due to his professional attitude, skilled work, and his genuine care for the homes he works in.

I was very impressed after having Jeff come and remodel my master bedroom and bathroom. My biggest compliment was that during the remodel I really appreciated the effort he took to protect the rest of my home from the dust and debris of construction. You don’t find many contractors that take the extra precautions and keep your home clean while working. Lastly he listens to your ideas, provides amazing feedback and is able to make it a reality. Looking forward to our next project with Jeff!

Would give no stars if able. I don't recommend this company at all was late on first meet up. Didn't do all the work that was listed on the invoice, which I asked about. Asked for a detailed bill being I supplied all materials was told no by the owner that I couldn't have a detailed bill. They had to refund me for the electrician because he was not reliable. The owner did what he wanted and didn't listen to me on what we had originally agreed on to be done. Had to come back out because the flooring wasn't completely done. It has been a whole mess with this company plus the prices are way to high compared to other companies that do better work in my opinion.

Jeff was amazing from start to finish! Each day Jeff would enter our home with a smile and a kind word. He was always on time, neat and very orderly with every project and process. I really appreciated how he would have several small projects going on at once and then somehow he would bring them all together like a chef making an entire meal and placing it on the table course by course. Jeff is a craftsman and artist. Our kitchen, bathrooms, hallways, living room and family rooms all look beautiful, neat and homey. Jeff re-insulated our home and now it is warm! Jeff had great ideas that were creative, artistic, functional and beautiful. Thank you Jeff for cleaning up at the end of every day. Thank you for keeping your eyes open to the possibilities that you uncovered and/or created in our home. You worked in the oldest house in Niskayuna and built it the newest and best kitchen in our price range. Thank you Jeff- we would recommend you whole heartedly. Anyone would be honored to have you bless their home with your artistry and workmanship.

Jeff redid our flooring and installation of a Murphy Bed and it’s cabinets. The project came out better than I imagined. Jeff was reliable and respectful of social distancing precautions. I was comfortable being alone in the house with him and leaving him alone in the house. Without any hesitation I recommend Jeff Senecal’s Services. He is a true professional.

Jeff is not only a great carpenter, he's also a great person. He's very creative at solving problems and always keeps to the budget. He rebuilt my deck and his solutions for getting around some issues were perfect. He is very prompt and always shows when he says and always puts in a full day of not a little more.Jeff is a true professional and had an uncanny ability to understand what you're trying to do and had some wonderful ideas for getting the job done on time and on budget.I expect to hire Jeff for more projects.
