Have been into their shop in Bayers Lake on a few occasions - once for a tune up for my Giant Defy and once for a pedal swap on my old Trek MTB. Friendly, efficient. Did the pedal swap for me gratis. Very pleased - if I'm ever considering Specialized, I will go to them.

Friendly folks. Went in for a quick bike rental and had no problems. Great rate as well, and pretty much the only place around to rent in the off season.

I purchased my Kona at Cyclesmith last year. After my purchase I was noticing that the chain was not meshing with the cogs very well and that the pedals were not quite tight. I brought it back a couple days later and they tightened up my pedals and said that they would throw" a new chain on to fix the problem. They did this all within an hour and gave me a bill for $120.00 for the chain and labor. I wasn't pleased with this seeing as I just bought the bike with what I will assume was a bad chain from the get go and I have to pay for it? I argued but they said it wasn't a warranty thing and the crappy chain that came with the bike in the box would "work"

Went to their shop on Barrington without a clear idea of what bike to get and felt well advised. They took into account my needs and didn't push me at all toward the most expensive bikes/helmet, etc. I'm really happy with my purchase so far and with being able to go back there for free tune-ups. The person helping me was friendly and took the time to answer all my newbie questions.

I had picked up my new Raleigh Tripper a few days ago from the downtown location. I went in knowing the style of bike i was looking for, Eric had greeted me, and had a variety of bikes to choose from. He was great assitance in helpig me find the perfect bike for me.Now the bike. Wow what a ride. So smooth and speedy. The agility of this bike is unreal making it awesome for getting around the city. While haveing the ability to ride with easy on gravel. This bike is equipped with a coaster brake. Which makes for wick awesome whips. A bonus: it keeps the bike super clean looking as there isnt any cabels. I couldnt be happier with the service and product from ideal bikes . Its a must go.Picture in commentsThanks!

The guys at IDEALBIKES are great, and their bikes are top notch. They have a great warranty policy, with free labour for a year after purchase. Awesome guys. Always ready to help out and answer questions!

I bought a Felt mountain bike at Ideal bike, after three months, I needed new bearing cones for my rear wheel, they could not give me new ones which mean they did not honour their guaranty ! I would not buy from Ideal Bike again

Awesome bike shop. Always looking out for me when there's an issue with my bikes. Great used deals. Really good and affordable new, off-brand bikes.

Went to get a Bike and had to jump through so many hoops to try and get the financing that they offer that I couldn't do it. Didn't say about any of it on the site, Very good knowledge of bikes but asked for so much paperwork they lost the sale.
