The best thing about this monstrously cavernous place is the layout. So many rooms, alcoves and features to look at. It's a staple of Calgary for 20+ years. We went on a Thursday night and it was sadly quite quiet.My only complaint was that our server didn't tell us about the special... hey management, make sure your servers tell all customers what's on offer. That was poor. I was toying with 4 stars for that, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt.Luckily we noticed the special on a chalk board when we arrived. It was the Smokehouse burger and fries, reduced from $20 to $13, now that's a deal!The food was excellent. Burgers were super tasty and fresh, and the fries were piping hot. That's why I gave it 5 stars.

We attended as we have multiple years for their Sunday Brunch service today to honor our Dad for Father's Day. The restaurant was not too busy at 10am, but became quite full by the noon hour. The buffet had it's usual selections varying from sausage, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit, salads, to Eggs Benedict roast ham and beef, to ribs and fresh sliced roast beef and ham. All fare was quite good, and tasty - but the waffles were a tad crispy and hollindaise sauce only served skimpy and cold in plastic cambros. Server Fiorella did commendable job; drinks were cold, but we did have to wait for coffee a number of times - understandable considering she was the only one on at the time. A coffee pot at the table would have done us better and probably helped her. Thanks guys, would recommend and plan to return...

Used to be our favorite place but haven't been able to visit for quite some time. Unfortunately the whole vist was a disappointment. Everything from the tables and chairs falling apart to slow service and cold food. Ordered dry ribs and pretty confident they are still working with the same oil and same box of frozen ribs from a decade ago the last time we visited. Very unappetizing. The worst part it took over an hour to find out, and that was with us needing to flag the manager to get the check after waiting a solid 15mins for someone to come by and clear our plates. And they did not seem all that busy, maybe half full and at about 7pm so not really during a rush

I cannot say enough great things about the Kilkenny Pub where we recently held a birthday celebration for my husband. Everything was superb. The service, food and space were great. Special thanks to Kirstie, Alyssa, Bill and everyone who helped make the event a success. The Kilkenny has always been a favourite place for a drink and meal or snacks. I recommend you stop in for a relaxing and enjoyable pub experience.

Went here a couple of weeks ago and decided I should write a review. We went for happy hour and wing night. The food was excellent. The lager truffle chips were amazing, totally my new favourite thing and the wings were very good with lots a flavours to choose from. Beer was cold and good variety. Even better than that was the service. Our server was Mady. She was one of the best servers I have ever had. She approached us quickly and got our order right away. The place was really busy but she was still very attentive. We didn’t have to wait for anything. She was sweet and kind. I really recommend this pub. The food was excellent and the service even better!

1. Wonderful place.2. We spent our year end evening (Dec 31) in this small cosy pub.3. There are light music, ample TV sets with different sports to watch.4. A mix of light and dark environment.5. Warm hearted people.6. Highly recommended to try out

We went for a paint night here for our valentines date. It was a great time. Drinks were good. Service was great. Didn't have any food but from what I saw it looked delicious. Would definitely return.
