Without question she is an artist. She knows how to capture what you want. From the moment you walk into her studio you feel like you have just joined a good friend for an afternoon of fun. Being absolutely critical of myself, my friends will attest, I am a person who has always felt more comfortable behind the lens than in front. But Laura has God given talents that she hones in on and uses to find those subtle shifts in your body that reveal something you just might like. She takes her time to get 'the shot'. She will take a series of photos that all lead to the moment you might just say, 'wow'. Nothing is overly edited or overly processed. She keeps you in tact. The way photography should be. As a fellow creative, I respect her process so much and am inspired by her work. She will be my new go to for any photos I get done in the future. Thank you Laura.

I commissioned Laura for a portrait of a woman for a medical-industry print magazine. It had to capture the essence of the subject herself, not as a doctor. No scrubs, no white coat, but rather the human being at the core.Laura's work bested even my most optimistic hopes. She took a series of shots outdoors that were, in a word, stunning. The hardest part on my end was selecting just one to run in the magazine.Given the contours of the layout, we ran Laura's photo horizontally, almost full-bleed across a spread. To run at that size, a pic has to be *really* good, as even with retouching sometimes imperfections will be revealed.Laura's shot was elegantly composed, with beautiful light. It turned out perfectly. The subject was a striking-looking woman, so Laura had good material with which to work, but that will take a photographer only so far. She knocked it out of the park.This was the first time I'd worked with Laura, and aside from her photography, she's a wonderful person: friendly, accommodating and easy to deal with. I can't recommend her more highly.

Laura is such a caring, genuine individual, you can’t go wrong with such qualities! From the very first email, I couldn’t wait to meet her! We spent months communicating prior to meeting and each communication was full of details, never a question left unanswered. The day of the shoot was soooo much fun, extremely calm and relaxing! Which you might not expect from such an event, but Laura just puts you right at ease and makes you feel like a million dollars! My photos were all amazing, I couldn’t decide which ones I wanted. Laura was, as always, patient and calm and helped me with this process too! You’re the BEST Laura, at every detail along the way! ❤️

Laura is an outstanding photographer!I had a very specific vision for my photos (e.g. poses, lighting, style), which were intended for my professional website. Laura took the time to listen and understand my vision/ideas through regular email correspondence, Zoom consultation, and additional research. From start to finish, Laura was patient, helpful and reassuring; I always felt comfortable communicating questions and special requests. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the end results.During the photoshoot, Laura had great posing suggestions, which resulted in flattering and dynamic shots. I do not have any experience posing for professional photos and Laura made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. I also included my dog in some of the photographs and Laura was very accommodating.The final product was exactly what I wanted; the photos are sleek, creative, and highly professional. I can't stop looking at the photographs!I also had makeup done by the hair/makeup artist who works with Laura and was very satisfied with the service. All of her brushes and products were clean, neat and organized. I do not wear makeup regularly and she created a natural look that enhanced my existing features.
