Good apartment buildings for those who are looking to move to Chatham.

There is no walk through of actual unit they show you model pics. Place is put together by apprentices and it shows . Loose /leaking connections under sink. Loose faucets . Paint over spray all over floors . Big hole cut behind washer for dryer vent (which is 4 inches )whole cut like 10 inches and drywall all left on floor. Cupboards pulling away from wall (here less than year) Got a schedule for when you can throw out your garbage. Limited clearing of walkways in winter. Leaving elderly to push walkers through slushy melting snow . Not to mention excessive salt used on walkways (I'm guessing so person with shovel has less work to do. I use to recommend this facility now after a year not so much. Not worth the rent they charge. People park storage like trailers in lot but parking for actual vehicles hard to come by.i did in fact tell the first super they had about issues so want me to fill out maint request even though I did so. Showed thier on-site super he did fix plastic dryer vent but left it right where it was so I did same. Your hard pressed to get ahold of anyone . Mamager seems to like to play hide and seek and only tells you what she thinks you wanna hear. Fill out a maintenance request how many times? Before it gets fixed. They can fix it now when I move don't need the hassle or inconvience.UPDATE.And if you pay for parking and people continuously park in your spot and tou block someone in to call there bluff about them calling a tow truck.They actually called the police on their tenant(me ) not have the violator towed .
