Fort St John off leash dog park
The park is large and one of the nicest I've seen. We don't use the biggest communal area, but my dogs like the second largest private" run. I loop a leash around the gate so people know not to enter (or ask first) and my dogs enjoy meeting other dogs through the fence. There is also a small dog run

Very spacious dog park with three separate sections for toy dogs, small dogs, and all sizes of dogs. The all size section had a small grove of trees, a picnic area, and lots of space to walk around and throw balls for the dogs. The other dogs there were friendly and the owners were all responsible and keeping an eye on their dogs.

Three areas for dogs. The main area is great!Poor design in a few regards.. main one - the water fountain is on the outside of the dog areas lol. So dumb.

My dog, Petie, and I had a great time at this park. It is the largest and wildest dog park I’ve ever been to. I love that they included a small forest. This is a good reason for an Alaska traveler to stop in Fort St. John each direction.

Very nicely designed park, gravel walking path through the whole park and a wooded area inside the park as well. Lots of benches and picnic tables. Also has a water fountain.

Springs on the fence gate at the bottom need to be repaired. This is not the first time this has happened, which means that the solution needs to be re-engineered.Otherwise, this is a great place to take your dog. There are three separate spaces in case your dog has issues around other dogs or you are concerned about a larger dog, and there's a water fountain which people and dogs can use to hydrate after a fun time running around in the park.

The park was very clean and well cared for. There were two smaller fenced areas for small and very small dogs. The people there were friendly and there were no issues with the dogs. I would visit again.

Fenced, varied-terrain dog park with options for field play, shaded trail walking, and picnic table/bench amenities for the humans! Waste bags and receptacles provided. Multiple gated entrances, with a separate space for small/shy dogs. Four stars because community water is available outside the fences only. Great pup spot overall!

Fort St John off leash dog park
Great place and people. This was a favorite place of ours to visit while in town. It is nicely laid out with walking paths and plenty of dogs for our KBD to play with. Some owners bring their smaller dogs in the big dog play area so some of the larger dogs that don't play well will use the medium sized dog pen. I appreciate the flexibility. There isn't big rig parking at the park which is the one downside. Free parking for autos, though.

Fort St John off leash dog park
Great big space! Loved that there were three different fenced in parks where dogs of different sizes can go. There is a water source there as well. Only a few minutes off the highway so an easy stop for those traveling the AK highway. Only con is there was a lot of poop not picked up but that seems to be the normal with dog parks these days.
