Safe & Sound Window Film

Ben was fantastic to deal with throughout the entire process. He arrived at our house with a binder full of information and samples. He asked our concerns and what we were looking to have done. He then suggested a few different products and held them up to the window so we could get an idea of what they would look like. Installation day came a couple weeks later and went amazing. We have a toddler who needed a nap while he was here installing the product and she was able to nap while he continued to work. The final product not only looks amazing but works amazing too. Noticeably cooler in the rooms the tint was installed. Would 100% recommend Ben to anyone looking for any type of window film.

Ben was extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional. He came for an in home consultation with no issues were as other companies would not or they wanted to charge an extreme amount just to provide a quotation.The film Ben applied has worked wonders on our South/West facing large windows. The main issue was our AC ran very frequently and long, on hot days. This year I have noticed a substantial difference in the time the AC is running and the off times are significantly longer. The upstairs bedrooms are also noticeably cooler.There is a very noticeable difference of the amount of heat the windows now allow in to the house, you can feel the difference just standing in front of it in full sun. Highly recommend.

From start to finish Ben was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had Ben install the window tinting to our windows facing south and west. Our house has AC but the second floor (where the bedrooms are located) was always at least 5 degrees warmer. Already a noticeable difference. Whew...just in time before the upcoming heat wave! Ben provided excellent customer service, explaining the benefits of the film, and the various films available. Very knowledgeable about the products. Was very skilled at installation, and pointed out various defects in the glazing that would possibly be seen after film application. Temperatures in the house are lower now with the film applied. Visibility into the house during the day is almost impossible.On overcast days, there is a noticeable difference in the sunlight colouring that floods the room, and those ominous dark clouds outside don’t look so ominous when you go outside to look at them. Just a couple little things that might not be expected when looking at installation of window film. It’s hard to visualize these types of changes from looking at small samples held up against your window.Overall, very happy with the work completed, and happy to be supporting a local business.

Having Ben from Safe and Sound come in and do my window measurements and allow me to view what products he had and be advised as to what i should use for my south facing windows with max heat and sun exposure was done with 1000% professionalism. When he came to install i was worried by choosing the max protection film i chose to dark and would lose visibility outside..NOT.. Product looks great installed. Very impressed thus far with the tint, and With Ben's Professional attitude and Knowledge on his products and windows . I'm positive ill have no issues with the installed product and any worry was addressed by Ben stating how they back the product with any issues, occurring if they do.The temperature difference was noticed right away with the installed protection Film. I've attached a picture with one pane completed so the visibility and tint difference can be seen.

Recently had Ben from Safe & Sound Window Film come and put sun control window tinting on all our windows as well as privacy window film on a front door. What a difference this has made in keeping our South West facing ,all window home cool. It has made a difference as prior to this work our central air would run 24/7. Ben was professional, polite, punctual and provides amazing customer service. He did a fantastic job, we are extremely happy and satisfied with his work. Ben is professional, personable and patient to deal with. He came and measured my windows and showed me the different shades of tinting that could be applied to my south facing windows. I choose a lighter tint for my patio doors and a bit darker on the windows. I wasn’t sure how many windows I wanted to get done and he gave me a few different estimates for the different options of windows. Once he had left I decided to get a white patterned privacy tint on my bathroom window as well so he came back and measured that. The install looks great. I left one window out thinking the tint might make it too dark inside but that was not the case. Regretted not including that one window but he said no problem as he had enough tint and did that one for me as well.Although the temp hasn’t gotten too crazy yet I do already notice a difference. I still get the nice beams of sunlight in my home without the extra heat. Also being in a condo the added privacy of people not being able to look in is great. The uv blocking is also a bonus for preventing fading of my furniture and floors.Great people make great companies and I would not hesitate to recommend this one. Thank you Ben!

We just got Ben to do our greenhouse". He came last year and we couldn't make it happen. He happily came out to go over what we had chosen to make sure it is still what we wanted. We had trouble deciding between two films and he installed them next to each other on a bedroom window. It was absolutely worth the small cost to do this so we picked the right one for us. We used Safe and Sound Window Film in our home as well as our business. Ben discussed the many different options that they were able to provide. The initial reason for us looking into these types of products were because of our dogs barking as they were frustrated seeing people, dogs and vehicles infront of our house. We ended up frosting the lower half of our front windows as a visual barrier and it has worked great! We still get a lot of light but our dogs are not able to see as vividly outside, which has allowed our dogs (and us) to have a better quality of life. Ben also used their products on our kennel building for our boarding clients. He used a tinted heat reducing film that will work with the AC in that building. It is still bright enough in the building, but it doesn't allowed the excessive sun to interfere with things. We highly recommended Safe and Sound!
