Owner(Chris) didn't know his own drivers didn't deliver on Saturday yet told me to order for Saturday. Texted me at the end of Friday to tell me it's not happening. Offered to deliver on Thanksgiving Monday, then delivered to the wrong address because he can't read or is mentally disabled . Got my order the next day, no birch and looks like it's 90% ash. Wood is seasoned max one year. Almost $300 for one cord of wood. Very sad. I have the email correspondence. Delivery on Thanksgiving Monday never happened yet, came the following Wednesday with a different worker, not Chris. Send me an email and I'll forward the emails.

I've been trying different vendors over the years. Here was my experience yesterday after buying 2 face cords from Ottawa Firewood for the first time. Probably the cleanest wood we have ever bought over the years, all hardwood, dry, more apparent volume than other vendors. Typical percentage of Elm (everyone we have ordered from always has elm in the mix) which is always a pain to split smaller as it is very stringy. Average length 15 which is perfect for our standard Minto in home fireplace."

Couldn't find anyone in Ottawa to supply my need of a large quantity of firewood for my backyard bonfire event and this company was able to accommodate my request. The delivery was smooth and the wood was more than perfect. I highly recommend them.

Poor quality wood and only half the order delivered. Refunded for the missing cord but did not replace the dry rot wood to complete the first cord. Now I need to order more and pay an additional delivery fee to some one else.The stacked pile is not a full cord. The remaining pile in the driveway looks like it sat in mud and is dry rotten.Avoid.
