Been coming here for the past 9 months. Never tried crossfit or olympic lifting before, but the Owner was a great coach. Has everything a crossfit gym needs, fun workouts, great group of people, plenty of free parking, and convenient class times.

As an average 40 something woman starting a gym for the first time was pretty intimidating experience, but it doesn't need to be. There are no egos here - just real people getting strong. Ben is a knowledgeable and supportive coach. He expects you to make an effort but always has a scaled approach to offer if you're struggling with the workout. Essentially, show up, work hard, and you'll reap the benefits.

Love coming here. Great workout every time. I joined after not having exercised regularly for several years, and it definitely made me have more energy and increased my mobility, flexibility and strength. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. Not intimidating at all. Also, cleanest and tidiest gym I've ever been to.

Signed up for a boot camp class, was very excited to try because I had heard such good things about crossfit. The facilities are very nicely laid out and clean, but the class itself was a huge disappointment. The person who taught the class wore jeans and a wool sweater to teach a fitness class which I thought very unprofessional. In a one hour 'boot camp' class I got maybe only 8 minutes of good workout, the rest was so basic as to be a class for someone that had never worked out in their entire lives. Tried to speed it up for myself because I felt like I was wasting my time and got told to 'slow down and go at the same pace at the class'. Decided to take my business elsewhere.***********In response to the owner, I would like to say that I have never claimed to be a 'world class athlete' nor do I aspire to be one. I only aspire to be the best that I can be and unfortunately the boot camp class that I went to did not allow me to be this person. I have done tabata exercises before, and perhaps I did not train as hard as a world class athlete but certainly was able to get to the point where I felt like my lungs were burning and complete exhaustion. I did not get this feeling in the class. In terms of 'crossfit not being about appearances', I don't believe that I expect a coach to wear only the most flattering, high end lululemon, nike, or under armor brand name clothing, but I think that I have a right to expect that a coach dress the part as someone who looks like they are willing to get down and sweat right beside you if need be to encourage you. Jeans, a wool sweater, and hiking boots in a gym do not give this feeling of confidence.I have recently signed up with a new training camp that is taught by someone who also participates in crossfit in their personal time and feel that this is more suited to me - since the month that I've been training there I've already increased my max weight ratio in numerous exercises by at least 20lbs and find that he is very good about tailoring the exercises to the specific need of the client regardless of fitness level. We do a lot of similar types of exercises (rowing machines, weight sleds, prowlers) but I don't feel that he holds me back to stay at the same level as others but instead pushes me to do more than I might have been able to do before.I think that perhaps my expectations of this boot camp class exceeded what the class set out to do - teach the most basic of basics to beginners that have never worked out a day in their lives. The class seemed very rigid in terms of pushing a 'credo' that you had to abide by and was not flexible to what an individual might be setting out to do. If you have done a squat, push up, or sit up before then this boot camp might not be for you.

Great program and facility. I've visited some other Crossfit boxes and find although the model is standardized they do vary in how they put the mobility (stretching) and strength/skills components together. Ben consistently has a well thought out cycle of programming (usually a 4-week cycle) that is designed to have all three areas (mobility, strength/skills, and the workout of the day) complement each other and quickly build strength and ability in the areas of focus over the course of the cycle. Good for any level of fitness as there is a way to scale any exercise to individual ability and a friendly and fun clientele.

Started doing Crossfit five month's ago and got lucky to find this place just few minutes away from where I live. Love workouts. In one hour you will stretch, develop new skills and do workout of the day that will make you sweat hard. Speaking of skills, after five months of training I can do double unders with a rope, bar muscle ups, hand stand pushups is not a problem, my stretching is much better at this point, not speaking of how my much better endurance and strength. Thanks coach!Looking forward to get much sportier!Awesome place, awesome people. Recommend!

This is really just a warning for future customers. Make sure you know the owner's expectations of you, or you will get kicked out. Although, I can only speculate that is the actual reason. I feel bad for giving this place one star because I didn't believe it was one star until recently. My husband and I were going there for about six months and we were loving it: great workouts, clean facilities, awesome people to work out with. I wasn't a huge fan of the owner and his style of training, but I was getting awesome workouts. We were going to classes, we were rarely late; however, my husband went to more classes than I did because I was on the twice-a-week plan. So out of the blue last week we get this email from the owner of the gym kicking us out for no reason. I will give the explanation" he gave verbatim: "Given my particular approach to running a gym and differences with your expectations

Have been going to Crossfit Wildlife for 2 years now. Very pleased with the experience - the gym is complete, clean, and commitment to the workouts will deliver results. Without getting into the details of crossfit, specifically, I can say that the owner/trainer is experienced, and the classes are fun.

I've been coming to CF Wildlife for more than 2 years. Unlike other Crossfit boxes that I've been to, Ben's workout programs runs in 3-4 weekly progressive cycles, so you get a structured workout not just wods randomly thrown in everyday. I've noticed that my strength and endurance gains increased since starting. Also, I like that the classes are small. Capped to 10 people unlike other boxes. The box" is conveniently located just 10 minute walk from Edmonds Station
