Her products reminded me of home: fresh artisan, texture and flavours that you can only get from a local baker that knows her ingredients!For my child’s birthday we ordered:•Doughnuts for a tower (fresh and delicious)•doughnut holes (amazing )•mini hot dog rolls( kids favourite)•meat pies(everyone favourite)•meat ball pocket(my favourite)There’s your regular cupcakes and treats that sell fast as she does only certain quantities a day, so you know the quality of the purchase is there.This is the kind of business we deserve in Calgary! Fresh, unique and amazingly delicious!The price is reasonable for a local baker not a comercial food chain, a full upgrade in our pallet.Will absolutely be ordering again for our next event.

I didn’t know this bakery existed. I walked in on a whim. And I believe I met the owner. She was so sweet, very kind. Bought some goodies and meat pies. Those meat pies were amazing. I will definitely be back for more. Everything’s delicious.

Lovely bakery - I couldn’t choose and ended up taking many pastries after speaking with Abbie. The apple turnovers were perfect: light in texture yet rich in flavour…. and I eat a lot of turnovers!

Went to check out Abbie’s bakery for the first time last Friday and bought cinnamon buns, meat pies, cup cakes and hot dogs in a bun. Super yummy and very fresh! This was my catch for today. Highly recommend this bakery!!!

Great service and such delicious foods! I enjoyed everything i got and ordered a fresh strawberry and rhubarb pie for my fathers birthday and he was very happy with it, aswell he really enjoyed the very fresh bread, cant wait till my next visit.

Excellent neighborhood bakery that does catering as well (Jamaican, so some of the savory pastries have that slight but lasting mouth-watering spice to them). While flaky and soft, the pastries are also full of substance, filling, not just the airy fluff that other stores sell. The newcomer customer problem here is going to be the high prices, but that is because their wares are 2-3 times heavier than in other stores. While I finish a chain store pie in one sitting, Abbie's pies last a lot longer, 3-4 filling snacks. And if more people would come to increase their sales, it's likely that they could reduce prices as well. Also, don't be fooled by the apparent lack of product on display, that is done on purpose, so the breads and pies and pastries stay fresh. Just ask the friendly people there and they will be happy to tell you what is available. Or call and order ahead. Come buy 1-2 items often and help keep our neighborhood bakery afloat.

Abbie's Bakery is an excellent bakery and I suggest that everyone goes here. All the baked goods were incredible. We stopped here en route to Banff (as it's only 10 minutes from the airport) and not too far off the freeway. We loved our purchases so much, we stopped again on our way back to the airport a few days later! We got the following (and would highly recommend to everyone): Meat pies, rye bread, sourdough bread, strawberry rhubarb pie, lemon pastry, blueberry pastry, and an apple strudel. The pie was still warm, and was definitely one of the best pies we've ever eaten. Everything was to die for, so we will definitely come back next time we're in Calgary. Also, the customer service was exceptional; they were warm, friendly, passionate, and helpful. They offered to warm up the meat pies and slice the breads (as we told them we were on our way to the airport.) I highly recommend checking out Abbie's Bakery, whether you're a local or just visiting!
