Cherry Beach Soccer Club
The absolute worst soccer club ever. Very disorganized and a money making scheme. They will register additional players even if the team is full, which means that the kids don’t all get to play a full hour because there are too many people on one team. Very disappointed and wish we never signed up.

Both my son and I have played year-round for the past several years in the Cherry Beach Soccer Club. I play the Men's Over 35 Divison and my son plays for their U-14 (born 2005) rep team. The facilities are great and the coaches for my son's team have been fantastic.

This is the worst run organization I have ever been a part of. Everything from registration, to team placement, to coaching, and everything after, is the worst because of their lack of leadership. Your children will learn nothing from this league as they panic to find coaches and an organized team, and it is not worth the money at all. I highly suggest other soccer leagues that we joined previous to th it s one. John has the worst power trips that make no logical sense which ultimately impacts the children. In response to your reply please don’t lie. First of all it was only 3 players we requested for, not 4 and in retrospect, had we collected our uniforms at different times you would have never had known so a ridiculous rule right off the bat. Secondly, I know for a fact that in my sons summer league last year, another team had AT LEAST 4 of their friends playing together… and it was still a well balanced group of 4 teams, no one won more than the others. Also there is another league we played for that had coaches lined up, actual trophies and even team pictures! I thought that was pretty standard with leagues until I experienced yours. Don’t worry you’ll be hearing from all of us soon for a refund.

The coach on my kids team never showed up for any games the whole summer. The club did absolutely nothing to provide any types of backups. Parents, without any background check or training, had to step in the entire season and start coaching teams before each games. We do not recommend this soccer club.

Overall the competitive/rep program is a very positive experience. The coaches place a heavy emphasis on teaching the right way to play and love the game and reinforce it with positive methods so the kids learn and grow from all of their experiences (including mistakes and things they can do better). As a result their confident increases and they grow both as people and as players. When you consider a club and look at reviews, it’s important to separate out the house league comments from the competitive/rep program comments. House league programs always vary in quality because it depends on a lot of parent volunteers and the commitment level is much lower since kids are getting their first exposure to the game. The competitive/rep programs have a much higher level of commitment and expectations and are really built on the quality of the coaches —specifically their ability to teach and bring out the best in their players. That’s what the CBSC program does so well and what makes it such a positive experience.

Good coaches and my son has a lot of fun and his skills have greatly improved. Lost one star because I find they take a long time to transition in between drills.

We sent our son to this club this summer for house league after he graduated from Little Kickers with excellent coaches. Cherry Beach has the potential to be very good but it is unfortunately so disorganized and poorly staffed. Parents were asked to volunteer coach after we were initially told there would be a staff. It has been a different parent each week, and over the summer parents were eventually dropping out. It's been a real let down for the children, and a serious waste of money. Tonight there was no coach whatsoever. I would recommend you seek another club if you are looking for a professional organization to coach your children.

Business model is rent the best facility in Toronto to attract customers then split the field into 8 fields for maximum capacity. Don't hire coaches because you'd have to pay them or run background checks, just rely on parents to step up every week. No one will return for a second season but that's fine because every year another crop of kids become of age. Don't worry it might be disorganized but that's ok also it's really expensive too.

Going there as a volunteer today gave me the opportunity to meet people with great minds no discrimination or hate. I will like parents whose children have the determination to play soccer to register their kids at Cherry Beach Soccer Club and they will not regret it

My son loves to play at the turf facilities offered. Incredibly convenient location if you live in the east end of Toronto. Has multiple experience levels from both starting out new to the game of soccer to more advanced players (house league > Rep League > All-star). Lost a star due to the website design and lack of clear communications. Trying the development and skills track next.
