Swiss Chalet
This Swiss Chalet was a good location. It’s on University just south of College street.The places interior has seen better days but the food was very good. Especially the hot beef sandwich.The waiter was super friendly. Knew the right balance between privacy and attentiveness.Food came out quick and all in all would recommend.Well done.

Conveniently located along Hospital Row" on University Avenue. Stopped in one night for a meal and was pleasantly surprised at the evolution of the classic menu.Classic quarter chicken or rib dinners still a favourite but newer items such as tenders (recommended)

This is the best Swiss Chalet location anywhere. I have eaten at this location many times and each visit is consistently excellent! The wait staff are fast, efficient and friendly which, to my mind, reflects on great management. The food is always amply served and always hot! Thanks and keep up the good work. You are all a credit to the Swiss Chalet brand!

Have been seeing fewer locations lately - I think all restaurants in BC are closed down. So when I moved to Toronto, I knew I had to go again to see what I can't remember.Came on a rainy day, so there were available seating. Was originally going to order take-out, but decided to dine in since there are more options available. The server was friendly and attentive, making sure I was alright.I ordered a meal, starting off with Cheese Perogies - wasn't expecting the perogies to be deep fried, but I enjoyed these cheese stuffed pockets. I also got myself a Shirley Temple (because I'm a child), and it was okay - I think there's something missing in the drink though.Then the main dish arrived: Quarter Chicken (white meat) with Fries. I ordered Mashed Potatoes, but I was just hungry at this point. The chicken is very juicy, packed with a flavour that makes you want to keep on eating. The fries were alright, should have gotten the seasoned variety instead. As for the sauce (gravy?), there's a prominent apple flavour to it, which I wasn't sure whether I exactly liked.The staff provided great service; it did seem that there wasn't enough staff, but then again, it wasn't a busy day. For what it's worth, it was a nice nostalgic moment, despite not remembering my last visit.

Brenda is the best! She always makes our drinks the way it’s supposed to be made :) She put a pickle in my friend’s Caesar and it just made her day.Thank you Brenda for your excellent customer service :)

Had a lovely dinner as part of our high school year-end trip to Toronto. Jory served us with patience and a friendly smile throughout, and accommodated our larger group. He took time to show care to each of the students and was an overall pleasure to have as our server. Thank you for making our evening memorable!

By far, one of the most, if not THE most beautiful, outdoor patios I've ever seen in Toronto. I'm beyond shocked that a Swiss Chalet location, of all places, would have such a nice place for summertime.I put photos and videos because words alone will not do justiceHowever, what's keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the bad service. It was extremely slow, and our server was pretty unfriendly. Another one of the on duty servers whom we asked for napkins from was extremely rude and unpleasant. So I think they need some fresh talent to take over.

Swiss Chalet
Jory was our server and was legit INCREDIBLE. He was so sweet and funny and completely made the experience. My girlfriend has come here with her family since she was a kid and I had never been and he pulled all the stops to make it like her childhood experience. It made it so funny and enjoyable and we really enjoyed it. Food was also good, but it was about the service for me!!
