In the fall of 2021 and the early winter of 2022, the Marian Grande Condominium Corporation had an exceptionally positive experience working with Kevin and Launa Wassill of Technique Construction on a significant renovation of all common areas of its condominium property.The Marian Grande Condominium is a 48-unit condominium corporation.Fifteen years after opening, the original carpeting and paint throughout the building’s common areas was badly in need of a refresh and an update. Accordingly, the Corporation’s Board of Directors issued a “Request for Proposal” for a Design/Build Team and Technique Construction was the successful bidder for the project to work with the successful design bidder, Appelquist Interior Design, Inc.Technique Construction collaborated with the designer and the Board of Directors from the early planning and design stages to the completion of the final details. The project scope included working with Ms. Appelquist who sourced materials, colours, and finishes for all three floors of residential units and the front entrance lobby, mail room, exercise room, common gathering room, three stairwells, and entrances to parkades.When the project began, Technique Construction designed a work plan, timeline, and communication strategy that ensured that the original vision worked on collaboratively with the Board and the Design/Build Team was implemented in a highly successful manner despite any Covid-related challenges all while maintaining a very comfortable environment for the owners and residents of this large complex.Kevin and Launa Wassill of Technique Construction are to be commended on their unique blend of talents, skills, and expertise that ensured the success of this major “common area refresh.” Conscientiousness, an ethical approach to business, and personal integrity are hallmarks of their highly professional approach to project management.Communication skills are of the highest standard at Technique Construction and any communication by telephone, email, or text always guaranteed a priority response during the entirety of the project. He always approached unexpected challenges under old carpets or uneven floors with optimism and economically appropriate long-term solutions. The Board came to find Kevin to be exceptionally trustworthy and reliable. Kevin and his team are very professional and took excellent care by protecting the flooring and appliances while they performed the insurance job for us. Communication skills were excellent when working with the Condo Board, our tenant, and ourselves. Every tradesman (drywaller, tiler, plumber, glass shower enclosure installers, journeyman and painter) showed on time and on schedule, and did an excellent job! I am super detail oriented and often disappointed with job ethics and quality in Regina, but the Technique Construction team's performance was totally worth the expense! They came highly recommended, stepped in (after I was let down by another company), and fitted me into their already super busy schedule. After months of frustration and staring at the holes left after our old showers got removed, our dream bathrooms came to life. Kevin and his crew did an interior renovation for us. They designed and installed a new kitchen, prepped a bathroom, removed walls and put in new ones, repaired the ceiling, and put in new flooring. We had Technique in to replace a loadbearing wall with a recessed beam. Kevin was timely in his response and scheduled us in quickly. Him and Launa went above and beyond for assistance with submitting and understanding the permit process with the city. All the staff members were friendly, efficient, and professional. The work quality is excellent! We will be using Technique again for future renovations!

Ryan, Kevin and their team did an outstanding job! We did a full main floor renovation of our mid century modern bungalow recently and they kept the job moving and where able to keep to the tight timeline we had given. We hired Ryan & their team to do a small demo & remodel of a portion of the upstairs of our house. They communicated extremely well, their work was fantastic, and we could tell they put their utmost care into the project. Their entire team was a pleasure to deal with, and they were very thorough, prompt and professional (and friendly!) throughout the entire project.
