My 9yo Westie has been groomed here since he was a pup. In addition to regular grooming he has been de-skunked" and had the odd nail trim done. He is always excited to be dropped off and we get him back looking neat and handsome."

After a decade of going here and being happy, the service has been on a steady decline. Our last visit, our Westie suffered an ear injury that will prevent his ear from standing up for the rest of his life without surgery. They didn't even acknowledge it happened under their care or share what caused the injury when asked about it.Not worth the risk to your pet's health. Try anywhere else.

Here a week ago for a nail trim. Groomer was friendly and was good with my dog. Price was reasonable and exactly what they told me- will go back

We arrived from Fort McMurray yesterday with three dogs who were filthy and smelled of smoke. Many groomers wouldn't take our dogs because we didn't have proof of rabies. One place (PetSmart) even had the nerve to advise that we call our vet." Umm...the city is EVACUATED! Well these lovely ladies accepted all three dogs

FYI, it is no just a grooming school but also a grooming salon, and this review is just for the grooming salon.the best thing i like is they keep the clients' dogs playing around instead of locking them inside the cages for a long boring day, the room is big and clean, dogs can play with each others and meet some new friends. lovely!the groomers are at least 2 grooming school teachers and some students, the students will do the basic part and the teacher will finish it up, so what they offer is a professional pet styling service, not just some shaving or short short short cutting, they know how to do different style for different breeds, and the price is fairI recommend Laura, the teacher and the best groomer you can find in London, got tons of champion trophies, SHE IS GOOOOD

I was a student at Pets Beautiful and I LOVED IT!!!! Laura and Lisa are excellent teachers, and Marnie really knows her stuff, I am very impressed by her success. I couldn't believe how much I learned in the short 9 weeks I was there, I learned so much about different breeds I had never even heard of, and I also learned how to groom them properly. Everyone learns differently, some people are visual and some hands on, and thankfully Pets Beautifuls course outline gives you the opportunity to examine visual instructions on paper, and also watch the teachers do it before the students begin the hands on work.I will admit was somewhat disappointed when I had been there for several weeks and still hadn't seen any cats come in the door (the website advertises cat grooming), I had hoped I would learn about that as well because cats are obviously difficult to groom, and then I learned that they didn't actually groom cats there. I should have verified when I was viewing the school and asking all my initial questions.After completing the course I wished it was longer than 9 weeks, I feel the progression through lessons was quick and a lot of information stuck, but I don't think I had enough experience with hands on work to really take it with me when I finished the course, I felt they didn't really teach me how to do things quickly, so it was difficult finding a job after I had graduated. If the course was longer we could have covered more breed groups in our textbook, gone over more of the material in the information binders we were given and improved on basic grooming skills. The only other thing I can say about being a student is knowing how expensive the grooming prices (and the course fees) are at Pets Beautiful and knowing that we don't get any of that back, I understand the teachers and owner work very hard, and definitely deserve what they earn, but people who go to hairdressing school earn commission on the haircuts they do, and although I was well aware that we wouldn't be receiving anything as students I was shocked to learn how much they charged people. Obviously every dog leaving here always leaves gorgeous and soft, but accidents can happen, especially when people are learning and have VERY sharp scissors.As I mentioned in the beginning, I absolutely adored this school, but I would really love to see some changes to make sure future students leave feeling prepared and confident in their knowledge and skills.

I take all this back, Girls were not nice. Absolutely the greatest groomers in London! My dog Jackson has always been treated like family and he comes home happy and groomed to perfection! I would recommend Pets Beautiful to any new pet owner looking for a groomer. The staff is Great also, just a great place!
