Amazing serving free food to those in need as well as a regular menu with very fairly priced items. Amazing idea and the owners should be proud of themselves.

Superb pay it forward place with fantastic simple and wholesome fare. A wonderfully airy and healthy space where you can enjoy very affordable menu items and then still have money left to buy a $1.00 or two of buttons or more. (If you purchase $20.00 worth they will give you a charitable receipt which you can then submit to CRA when you file your taxes and get a large percentage back) Up to 5 of those pay it forward buttons can then be used a day by others in need to help nourish them totally free of charge to them. The chili was a GF option and there are a couple more.

Loved the breakfast sandwich with bacon. Its my go to when I visit.I really appreciate the impact and welcome they have for clients from the inner city.

Traditional style breakfast. Delicious! Bennetts hot apple cider. No dine in, only take out. Plenty of customers. Busy around lunch time.

Brunch is on!We had THE BEST sandwiches! 5* “Yummiest grilled cheese” (bacon, caramelised onions, apple butter with white cheddar) and “Chipotle breakfast sandwich” (arugula, bacon, cheddar, egg, with chipotle mayo). Bacon was optional in both of those sandwiches.Coffee 5* was delicious, brewing beans from Detour. We ordered americanos and enjoyed them thoroughly.Dine-in has resumed (but still serving in takeout containers). Accessible space: There’s lots of room to move people and mobility aids around between tables, or to sit at the big table in the middle.Add a donation for the pay-it-forward (jar of buttons as tokens for guests who are short on money). You can also make a button donation online.

Eat good food in a lovely Cafe and help get healthy food out to the people who need it most, at the same time! The staff are wonderful and the other patrons have always been friendly. It's a good place.

Great people & great food.Had a stroke and on a very strict & tight budget.Thx for places like this . I can still go out and eat a decent meal at a fair price

A warm welcoming inclusive place for EVERYONE! The coffee is fantastic and the food delicious! The scones and brownies incredible!! They also have a button system so someone can purchase/donate buttons to inturn help someone else in need pay for their meal. It doesn't get much better!

The food is good, they have healthy options for good prices, and the button jar to pay it forward is cute but also a great way for people to help out anonymously. There's an all gender bathroom and it's wheelchair accessible. The building is gorgeous, and the decor is all different, but it goes together. Kind of like all the people that gather there.
