Rene led us on an interesting, informative walk through the old town of Montreal. The pace was gentle with lots of stops so not challenging at all physically. We wished we had done this earlier in our trip, it’s a good way of orienting our selves in a new city. Very glad we did it though even on our last day.

Clara was the best! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend upon arriving to Montreal. This was one of the best walking tours I've done. Packed with history, not to strenuous in walking, and a bathroom break in the middle!

Clara did a fine job of explaining the history of Old Montreal. She made it a lot more interesting than if we had been walking around by ourselves. We also enjoyed her quick wit and sense of humour. We recommend the tour.

Françoise gave informative tour, I learnt a lot more details about old Montreal and its founding. We got to understand the history and meaning behind some public art statues/installation, also she recommended some great spots to dine in old Montreal!

My wife and I had an excellent experience on the walking tour of Old Montreal. Our guide, Clara, was very personable and knowledgeable and kept our group entertained for the whole tour. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our walking tour of Old Montreal this past weekend. Clara was friendly, funny and full of facts! We learned about the founding of the city, and about historical figures and places. The pace was good for a small group of strangers, and there was a washroom break halfway through.We will definitely book a different tour with 16/42 the next time we're in Montreal!

Had an excellent tour of the Plateau and Mile End area with our guide who was extremely knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and even the food scene. We've done over 50 walking tours all over the world and I'd say this one would be in the top 5!The company is also very responsive on email so if you don't see a date, just email them and they'll setup a tour for you at the cost of a regular tour as long as you have the minimum number of people. That's what we did and it worked out really well.

MUST DO in Montreal if you don't want to miss out on the best this city can offer! Me and my boyfriend did the Old Montreal tour and it was one of our favourite experiences! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice, she took us around the old port and it was so nice getting to know the history of the city (there were SO MUCH we didn't know about, and probably wouldn't have known if we didn't do the tour), we would definitely recommend! Our group size was around 10 people, and we loved that because we were able to be more interactive. The tour was around 2 hours, so expect a decent amount of walking, but totally worth it!!

We had a great experience with 16/42, the guide Sandy was excellent and her narration on historical sites was superb. For someone visiting first time Montreal it was worth the tour.

We had a fantastic walking tour of old Montréal guided by Chantal. Her knowledge of Montréal is vast, and her enthusiasm and charm is infectious. We were lucky enough to have a smaller group so there was lots of time for questions, interesting stories and the tour was a comfortable, leisurely pace even in very hot weather. She made every effort to keep us in the shade where possible, and overall her approach was informative and highly engaging. I cannot say enough great things about our guide Chantal and this tour company! Don't waste any time looking around - this is easily the best walking tour company I've experienced in Montreal.
