Alpine Ski Club

I enjoyed my day at alpine ski club for the most part. My most preferred private ski club in Ontario. My complaints are that they had runs closed that should not have been, and that the park was partly closed off for ski racing which is a ridiculous reason.

I was there with family with a group. A nice ski club with really good amenities and updated interior design of the chalet and clubhouse. The staff was friendly, and even though we weren't allowed to eat indoors, there were enough heaters and even an outdoor fireplace My 3-star review is due to a few reasons- One being only 1 lift was in operation with no green (easy) trails available on the hill from that lift. Only blue (difficult) and black (extreme) trails were accessible. The only green trail (for beginners and learners like myself) was the magic carpet bunny hill. Not sure why but covid might be the reason so I can discount this. Once I got up the lift however, there were no markings visible along the trails to show which was which. Some other trails I've skied on have colour/number/label markings along the path that let you know you're going the right way. The map at the top of the hill didn't show a 'You Are Here' star (I guess others may have done their homework or inquiry at the chalet before heading up!) Yet another reason for 3-star is because I wasted a good 30+ min due to rental equipment misfits - twice for my skis (2nd time was because my 1st pair got stolen and the new skis given AGAIN weren't adjusted correctly to my boots by the staff!) They also couldn't get my child's ski boot size right as per their charts in spite of measuring the foot. The staff should've been more knowledgeable to save my time going in and out of the the rental shop vs skiing on the hill!

It's a great place for a relaxing day of skiing or snowboarding. I was invited to visit here and it is beautiful. Nice lifts and slopes. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The only part that really didn't align with this private(bougie supposedly) club is the equipment rental staff. The old guy that works there is very snarky and rude. Sort of put a damper on the exclusive experience. I hope he is not the owner or manager. Anyway. Great place. Just beware of the rental unit.

The new standard, in what an excellent ski club should be.Good skiing, brand new clubhouse, very well run club.

Poor location for weddings because they won’t turn the air conditioning on & with the sun coming through the windows it’s unbearable. Even at night it was hot.

We had a skiing event here and it was a great experience. The skiing instructors are top-notch with excellent customer service, the snow was well groomed, the hills were a lot of fun to ski on, the food was really good, and the drinks were even better!

Beautiful wedding venue. Outdoor ceremony, indoor dinner and dancing. At night there was a gorgeous fire pit.

Came here for an event ad it was quite wonderful! Didn't get to snowboard unfortunately, but we were well taken care of inside! Glad to see the charity was such a success!

Great venue. Superb service.
