Amazing food !!Tried jhol momo which was extremely satisfying .The spicy and authentic taste of jhol momo goes perfectly in the cold weather.on top of that the chicken lollipop was the best thing i have ever had in so long.If you are craving for good food with amazing taste. Do visit hakka bistro.

Amazing food! The crispy beef is by far one of the best crispy beefs I’ve ever tried at any Hakka Restaurant. I would also highly recommend the chicken pakora. The food also has a very strong level of spice! Would definitely order from this place again. Happy to have a Hakka restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Amazing food with great customer service. Ordered here a couple of times, the portions are huge and the food tastes amazing. The Chicken Momo's are delicious and would recommend all to try. Unfortunately, there isn't much space to sit in, but it's a great pick-up spot.

I've been meaning to try this new Hakka spot in my neighbourhood for a few months, and it met my expectations entirely!The staff were friendly and helpful on the phone: they helped recommend a couple of dishes for me that perfectly balanced my meal. When I went to pick it up, service was efficient. Even though he had 7 other takeout bags on the table, he immediately knew which one was mine, and handed it to me with a grin. And, most importantly, the food was spectacular. Generous portions. We got a great amount of food for $30.I'm so glad Downtown East finally has a solid Hakka restaurant! I'll be back.

It’s a takeout only restaurant and the food is really good! I found this place via Google search. The place seemed nice so we gave it a shot. And boy, we couldn’t have been more happy about it. The food tastes very similar to what you’d expect from any good Hakka place back in South Asia. We ordered one veg chow mein, one chicken/beef/shrimp chow mein (Szechuan Spicy) and one chicken lollipop. All of them tasted really good. The quantity and quality was also outstanding. The pricing is also fair. We got a chance to chat with the manager/owner, and he was really nice and friendly. Definitely going to try out the other items from the menu. It’s a recommended place for anyone who’s craving Desi Hakka cuisine or want to try it out for the first time.

Amazing portion, and delicious food. My friends and I devoured everything and wanted more. Hakka cuisine doesn’t exist in Montréal, so this was an amazing experience for us. The varieties and the ability to adjust spice level makes this place even more worthwhile!

Best Hakka in Toronto thus far.I’ve been searching for a Hakka spot to replace my beloved one in Vancouver, and I’ve finally found one after a few years of searching.The food here is delightful and full of flavour. It’s not diluted for the western palate. Expect strong flavours, proper spices, and well rounded combination of hot peppers. It’s fantastic. Don’t skip out on this one.Today we tried the sesame crispy beef - which had a huge amount of beef with smaller outer coating, by far the best we’ve had in the city. We had the Chili chicken which was fantastic, Szechuan style noodles with 3 meats, chicken, shrimp, beef fried rice, and 4 spring rolls which were doubled for free.The cost is more than reasonable and quite a bargain for the quality and quantity of food.We can’t wait to get more dishes on this menu. Compliments to the chef and the staff for creating this gem.

Review Updated Winter 2023:Sadly the quality and portions have really slid at Hakka Bistro. A few of their dishes are now quite small and there is considerably less meat included in the noodle dishes. It also didn't taste quite as good as when they first opened. Additionally, the few times we did pick-up instead of delivery were quite unpleasant. The inside of the business is so smokey and hard to breathe. And my clothes were practically ruined from the smell. They're often very busy and orders can take much longer than expected.Original Review Summer 2022:This just became our favourite takeout restaurant in the area. Their Hakka food is on par with some of the best Restaurants in Scarborough which was a pleasant surprise right in the downtown core. So far I've tried a few different chow mein and Hakka noodle dishes as well as the crispy beef and everything was excellent. Prices are very reasonable too.

First time to try this place and so happy I did. Delicious Hakka flavors. I ordered one meat dish, one chicken dish and fried rice. ALL are outsandinggg! I will definitely order more often from Hakka Bistro. Recommended!!!!
