Willemsen's Collies

Sue is a very knowledgeable breeder. Her dogs are exceptional and she certainly knows her stuff. We were fortunate to bring not just one but two of her lovely collies home and we couldn't be happier. They are happy loving members of our family and it is all because of the love and care of Sue.

We could tell from the initial interaction that Sue has a true love for her Collies. She was very open and responsive to our questions. Very knowledgeable about the breed.On our day of pickup we went to their very clean private home and our puppy was ready to greet us. And we took him home with the cutest and thoughtful care package. Every aspect of the purchase was wonderful. We even met the sire and dam in person. Our puppy was in excellent health and up to date on all shots and we received all related paperwork from her vet.Sue checks in on all of us who have the privilege of owning one of her Collies, via a Facebook Group. We can interact and watch his siblings grow up via photos and updates.We couldn't be happier with our experience and would recommend anyone to Sue.

I had an exceptional experience getting my Rough Collie pup from Sue. She is kind, accommodating, and it is clear to see how much she cares for her dogs. We are so happy with our new pup, he was socialized well, and even taught some commands and tricks before coming home to us. 10/10 Recommend.

My family is so happy with our newest addition. Our puppy Piper is a healthy, sweet, intelligent, laid back, and a very loving dog.We really notice the difference with Sue's puppies, as they are raised in her home alongside mom, dad, grandma, and the rest of Sue's big 4 legged family :) We were impressed by how attentive Sue is, spending time to get to know Piper and telling us about who she is and what's she's like. I purchased Echo in November of 2019 and I couldn't have brought home a more perfect puppy. I was very impressed with the professionalism from Sue and even more so with the quality of up bringing and training Echo received from, it was like I received a fully trained dog. Echo has been a dream dog, who is very intelligent and extremely well mannered both of which I can attribute to her impeccable breeding and up bringing. I have recommended Sue and her puppies to many people and will continue to do so!

I purchased Gunnar in July 2022 from this wonderful breeder. It took me a very long time to obtain this perfect dog. I went through multiple breeders and private sellers that were not trustworthy so I am glad that I waited this long. Initially I wanted an older dog for my mom and I was a bit hesitant to obtain a puppy because it would mean that I would have to care for the dog with my upside down work schedule. However Gunnar was all ready extremely well trained (better than any dog I know), up to date with all his vaccinations (my vet was impressed with his health) and I had plenty of time to decide. This is the only breeder I know that allowed us to see the parents, gave us thorough instructions with a take home package and lovingly raised their dogs inside the house while always keeping in touch.We are so happy with Gunnar. He loves my mom and he is also very gentle with my grandmother and all my other small pets. He crate trained himself, immediately adjusted to my work schedule, keeps a good watch over our house, loves to be brushed, never resists getting dressed up, always greets me with a big smile when I come home...... He is the perfect therapy dog and best friend. My neighbors always compliment him on his beauty. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend Willemsen collies. We got a puppy 3 weeks ago from Sue and had an excellent experience. We were able to meet his father, mother and grandmother. All beautiful with wonderful temperament. We spent the afternoon with Sue and the puppies. Sue answered all our questions and provided us with a lot of information. We never once felt rushed in the process. We were sent home with all the information our vet could ever want and a very helpful handout for us. Our puppy loves people and is friendly towards other dogs likely because of the wonderful start he got being raised in home at Willemsens.

Sue is a terrific breeder - exceptionally professional and she really cares for the dogs. Not only did she spend almost an hour with me on the phone answering all my questions, but she also wanted to make sure Juno was going to a good home. As for our Juno, she has such a sweet personality - I never worry about her with my children, she’s not destructive, and she’s just a big suck for affection. I’m so glad we found Sue and got to take one of her lovely puppies home!

We have 2 Willemsen collies; a 1 yr. Old and have just added a 2 month old. We also have 1 from another breeder. Last year we lost our 2 elderly collies. Sue's collies are well socialized, even tempered, quick to learn and loving dogs. Having had 3 from another breeder we can say that Sue's dogs are a cut above. We live on Vancouver Island, both times Sue went above and beyond in her care and shipping of the puppies. We initially made contact with Sue as she had beautiful white collies available, our newest puppy is a handsome Blue Merle.
