Took a friend who has never had Korean food before. This place was very convinient & clean to introduce Korean table top cooking, all the side dishes, kimchi & Korean soybean stew all at once. They loved everything especially the quality of meats, soybean stew & kimchi. My Korean food introduction dinner was such a success.Although it was hard to get attention from the server because they were way too busy and I heard if we go during the weekend it could be even worse. They also have 1.5 hours limited seating time due to the restaurant being so popular. For me I need minimum 2 hours to sit down and have a few drinks, chat, order more meats. If you have any friends who would like to experience Korean food for the first time, this place might be it!

Pretty standard Korean fare, the quality of the meat was good, prepared food was tasty. Cozy interior with friendly service. Amazing that they are open late every night. Great place to cap off an evening out with friends or if you just want to grab a tasty meal. Minimum 2 orders of meat or vegan set per table!

The meat quality here makes you want to never go to a cheap all-you-can-eat bbq place ever again.I’m a cheap guy that likes to get the most food for my buck, so I’ve always been hesitant to try daldongnae. For the longest time I’ve been told how good daldongnae, and only now I realize just how good it is.Firstly, the sides here are really good. From the kimchi, to the potatoes, to the corn, egg, and my favourite, the tofu soup. As long as you make an order of any meat, you’ll get a whole load of sides that will fill you up. My two friends and I ordered one serving of pork belly, and one serving of beef tenderloin and both were great but the tenderloin was the highlight that I would recommend to anybody who eats beef. With those two servings, along with the sides, our group of three were more than full. I was originally worried about our bill being high with how high prices are per portion, but with sides accounted for, our bill split was actually cheaper than some ayce bbq spots and cane out to around $64 total. One negative I have about this location is the seating, table size, and getting the attention of an employee. Tables are very small and you will find yourself struggling to fit everything. The dividers between each table make it quite difficult to also get the attention of an employee, especially when you’re sat in the tighter corners. In summary, this Daldongnae is quite busy and a little tight, but the quality of meat and sides make for a delicious meal that isn’t too hard on the wallet.

Love the food and service here. The meat (pork and beef), dipping sauce and side dishes are very delicious. You get a free soup with your bbq order and the unlimited corn and egg are always great :)

The place was packed when we arrived but wait times were quick and we were seated within 10min. Quick and attentive service by staff. High quality meats and vegetables paired with wonderful sides. Atmosphere was clean and lively. I would definitely recommend dining here again.

Went there to have a soju and eat some good meat with my friends~We got there RIGHT before the rush at 6pm, so I’d recommend to go around that time or you might have to wait. Each meat comes in 200g worth, and I’d say that’s ABOUT one portion, but I also shared some seafood pancake and ate rice with it. So I’d say a minimum of $30 of food per person to get full. This plays is famous for their infinite corn cheese, so take good advantage of that! You can always ask for more side dishes, and if you’re someone like me who likes kimchi at kbbq you can ask for extra :)I feel like I should’ve drank another bottle of soju, I’ll do that next time LOL

If you are looking for the best Korean barbecue in town, this is the place to be. It is not a very big place but it is one of the best. Pork and beef barbecue are delicious! All the complimentary sauces and side dishes are delicious. Of course order a pancake, it is a bit spicy but not really. The kimchi soup is moderate spicy as well and so so good. Comparing to the one I had in South Korea, i didn’t feel the difference. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is a paid parking lot right behind the restaurent. Place is so busy all the time (evening time).

Came here for the first time because I’ve been eyeing this place in a while. Upon entering there was already a queue and we had to be on the waitlist. Didn’t have to waste time as their process is quite impressive. They have a machine where u put your name, number of people and phone number. It’s actually connected to their Yelp account because I got a notification where I can even see my number in the waitlist. But they did call me as promised when my table was ready. Had to wait 20 minutes coz the place was packed (we came around 7:30ish on a Sunday). The place looks cozy and not really as spacious as I thought. Music was pretty loud so people were talking loudly. We ordered 1 beef rib eye roll and 1 beef chuck steak. We didn’t order much since its pretty pricey and we just wanted to try first. Food came quickly. The side dishes came first and it even came with spicy tofu stew.Side dishes were:Mashed butternut squash - barely touched it; not a preferenceCold acorn jelly - I had one and it was pretty ok. It was soaked in what I assume is soy sauce topped with red pepperSpicy zucchini - loved this. It tasted so freshSeasoned bean sprouts - it was okSeaweed in soy sauce - I liked this a lot; wish they can give morePicked onions - definitely a fave. Love it a lotLettuce - 4-5 pieces I thinkSpicy tofu stew - I enjoyed this especially while it was still hot. Nice balance of spiciness and a little bit of sournessAnd then we were served with soybean paste and sesame oil sauce with salt and pepper. I enjoyed dipping the meat and lettuce here.As you can see, grill itself came with corn and cheese, little bit of kimchi, garlic, and egg.I honestly expected the side dishes to be somewhat unlimited (or at least the kimchi to be more lol).Enjoyed the experience but really wish they have an unlimited side dishes or maybe unlimited grilling option because meats are just way too pricey especially that they’re not at all marinated or seasoned. I hope they have that option too!Overall, it was ok but not a place I’d go back to next time. I guess this is good for those who don’t like to eat much and just want to try the Korean bbq grill for experience, or those who don’t mind shelling money. For this serving, it cost us almost 60 bucks. So yeah, not worth it for me.
