Store itself was nice. Clean, organized and lots to choose from. Unfortunately the prices for many items are extremely overpriced. Lots of clothing and furnishings are priced higher than brand new. If you're willing to dig thru the lot you can find a few deals.

Very disappointed. Found items in the store that they were selling more than if you bought it brand new. I.e flower pots. Found three of them selling them for $1.50 each, brand new. 99 cents each. How can they do that?

They had item from dollarama with original price on it. they wanted 7 dollars for item sold new for 2 dollars. I would recommend donating your unwanted items to a thrift shop rather than this for profit chain.

They have a large selection and consistent stock of used clothing. Donate to a charity instead of No-value P(v)illage. They charge more then market value.Things to know:-They are more expensive than charity thrift stores, but they do have discounts sometimes. They are actually competing with charities, while robbing the poor and uniformed.-You can't try on clothing in store as they don't have change rooms.-They sell damaged garments as well as undamaged ones and will not refund only exchange.-Exchanging is a pain as you take stuff home hoping it fits, try it on then come back and exchange if you didn't luck out on size, rinse and repeat for the stuff that doesn't fit again-Check garments fully for holes, stains, broken zippers, buttons, straps, ties, snaps or pockets.-hold up items to your waist or torso to check the fit around your waist or torso and check your pants/skirt legs size by comparing the size by hanging it along your hip.-strange times where it is summer 2023 and change rooms are still non existent when they charge a premium compared to other places-despite these short comings I'll grab stuff here time to time

I really like such places where you can find smth unusual, vintage or unique. So if you are fond of this too, and also don't mind mending some stuff, this shop is definitely for you!

Value village is out of control!!! They are selling used DONATED items for new or more prices. The community they serve has been generous enough to donate their items to them and they turn around and slap and insane price on it and sell it back to them. What a greedy company.

Nicely laid out departments, clean store. Prices are too high for the value. I saw a ball of Yarn with a $2 Dollarama sticker for sale for $2.99, just as an example. These are 2nd hand goods and should be priced accordingly at fair market value.
