John Knox Christian School - Secondary Campus

6 years ago, we are new comers to Canada. We were introduced the John Knox Christian School. My son has been studying in this school for 5 years and is in his final year of the secondary school. I have close encounter with teachers and other staff. The atmosphere in the school is warm. Teachers and staff are kind-hearted, sincere and full of love to whatever students in the school. I can always see principal and teachers controlling the traffic in the morning and afternoon for the students. The school has plans to prepare for city's anticipated emergency as witnessed when packing the emergency food by me as volunteers years ago. The weekly newsletter from the school is well published to keep parents informed of the details and activities. Various activities including voluntary and sports are held throughout the year. A desirable learning place for Christian children to grow.

If you want your children to develop into hard-working, servant-hearted individuals this is the school for them. Some students from John Knox helped renovate Inner Hope's community space and the staff here were absolutely blown away by their character and work ethic. We are so thankful for students who have a desire to learn about their community and get involved.

Caring staff, solid teachers, and a superb missions and outreach program.

My daughter has been enrolled in John Knox since Kindergarten and we have had a wonderful experience with the teachers, staffs, and the community in general. She has developed not only academic skills but also personal and social skills and most importantly John Knox has been able to integrate those skills in the context of God’s calling to those students to be blessings for the society.

Having worked with John Knox for many years, I'm continually impressed with the caliber of the leadership team, staff, and teachers at the school. Their care for the students is apparent in the work they do.

It’s a good school, not just focusing on academics but also reaching out to support the community.

My children have been attending since kindergarten and have always had amazing and caring teachers. Appreciate their mission of developing Christ centered students.

A very nice school, but the office is not very responsible. Barely pick up the calls or answer any questions even if it is an emergency………The school definitely deserves five stars but the office…………….

John Knox is terrible!The building is already small and they rented the left side of the building out. It's expensive and definitely not worth the money. The teachers give out way too much homework and the assignments are unclear. Some of the teachers are nice and understanding, but a lot of them don't care and emphasize for their students with things going on outside of school. They interfere with our personal lives yet they don't let students have a little bit of extra time to finish their homework and projects that they get assigned.
