Amazing food! Great Quality. All food is Halal as the staff mentioned. The servers did their best and were quite nice. The only downside is the service is a bit slow.

Delicious Afghani food!! Absolutely loved the Aushak and the Bolani. All the other dishes were just as amazing! The milk pudding was a perfect way to finish the meal. The service was great and the staff were super friendly. A wonderful experience!

Expensive but decent food. Service was incredibly slow (took around 30 minutes to get the servers attention after seating to ask for water). Expect to pay around 40 per person for a reasonably sized meal. Appetizers are quite small - pumpkin is tasty

We had dinner on Saturday night. The food was very good, but the service was poor. The restaurant was busy, and the only two waiters were completely overwhelmed. The whole meal took over 3.5 hours, most of the time was us waiting for our order. We waited a very long time for the appetizer and then another hour for the main course. When we politely asked our waiter to check on our food, his response was “it will come when it comes, don’t worry about it” in a rude condescending tone. We then waited for 45 minutes for the dessert. Our original waiter never came back to our table and the other waitress and busboy took care of us and they were fine and polite. Both the appetizer (soup) and the dessert were premade, and there was no reason for the long wait. Several other tables were voicing their complaints much louder. Clearly, this place is understaffed and poorly managed.

Great service and delicious food. Everything we tried was well seasoned and prepared and cooked just right. Would definitely recommend the eggplant appetizer and the lamb chops as a main. They brought out the wrong dish for my friend but they apologized for their mistake and quickly made the correct dish to be brought out so he didn't have to wait long while the rest of us ate. People make mistakes but they did great at not making it an issue. Thanks for a lovely dinner!

Beautiful afghan restaurant in the Plateau of Montreal. Bring your own wine or beer. Portions are large and very delicious. Kept us very full. Service however is a little slow but we came Saturday evening. Service is friendly and the server answered all our questions. Restaurant is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated.

Place was nice, but the service was not good at all. We asked for a sparkling water that never came, then we had some tea in a broken cup that was never replaced. At least the waitresses were usually smiley.

The food has the simplicity of homemade food made with great care and the novelty of exotic flavors. Definitely a must try if you like to discover new flavors. Check the pictures below. Delicious!

I love everything this place: the food, staff, and atmosphere.The food is exceptional. Very tasty and filling. Not my our first time there but last time we went, we got the chicken (Murgh Mirch), meatballs (Kofta), and soup-ish (Ash Reshteh). All were amazing. Also had their Chapli kabob a while ago and that was also excellent, albeit spicy!The staff, the resto is family owned and the employees are super nice and caring! The chef, especially is so nice, at times she even comes and takes orders herself!Atmosphere is cute, too. Traditional afghan style, I guess, and cosy.Overall, a bit on the pricy side but well worth it. I’d go back again.
