Our family lunch on the terrace was just splendid! We were there first customers on the reopening day post Covid-19. The whole Hotel site is safe and the staff was very welcoming, albeit their obligation to wear a mask and distanciation.Four of us ordered the hamburger and it was just fantastic and the portion is bigger than most people need. The kids really liked the view on the river and the sound of the waves. We will definitely stop by this restaurant next time we are in the region.

I am staying at the hotel, and am in the middle of ordering a poutine by room service. I just finished paying $260 for dinner for my wife and I, and we are famished. I had the beef, and she had the duck. Wildly uninteresting dishes whose highlight was salt and pepper. The only saving grace is that we scored two Long Island iced teas because our server ignored us for over 1.5 hours.

BEWARE coming here if you took the meal plan with your room. You will be treated like 2nd rate customers (even if you stayed in a suite). We were seated and completely forgotten about. Then our meal took 90 mins to be served. I guess we’re not as important as the “à la carte” customers. The meal plan has a different menu and the food was mediocre. We had much better service and food a smaller bistro in Baie-Saint-Paul.Fairmont, why even have the meal plan as an add-on to the room, only to have us mistreated? This is 1 star service.

Very nice environment, great service, food prices are really overpriced for the quality. Couldn’t even swallow the “foie gras”. But because of the great service they gave me a nice big plate of cold cuts instead and I thank the waitress for her hospitality! But still not worth 170$ for two people.

Amazing view and good atmosphere. Avoid the ceviche, but the scallops were amazing! The lamb was pretty good and the calamari tagliatelle was decent.

Not cheap, but delicious. I had the beef shoulder and my wife had the salmon, everything was perfect. Not huge portions, if you want a Big Mac go to McDonald’s.

Wow we took the table dhote menu and yes for $56 at the time was amazing started with emu tartare followed by steak with blue cheese then finished with creme brûlée certainly worth the reservation and the view from here of the st Laurence river.Staff very friendly and professional and due to the current circumstances staff work hard and have to deal with a lot.Certainly would happily return for another great meal

Requested window seating to celebrate a special night with my partner but instead the terse maitre d' ... seated us right by the staging station and blowing air con. She was chilly indeed. So recommend that if you have special requests, talk to the concierge and not the restaurant staff. They are awkward and unaccommodating. In terms of menu, the ris de veau was outstanding but the magret de canard a rubberized fail. And the ceviche had no citrus lift. Unfortunately our beverages were forgotten, so we decided to pay and flee to grab celebratory dessert in the town of Malbaie rather than letting the resto spoil our day. So if you're planning your vacay at the Richelieu, recommend to take any special evening offsite and spare yourself the disappointment of Le St. Laurent.

One of the worst restaurants IV been to for the price. 6 people, ALL disappointed!!!Tartar had no flavour, bread was cold and dry. And by far the worst was the Lobster club sandwich for 42$. Which was nothing more than old puréed lobster mush, on bread. Avoid at all costs
