My German Sheppard was injured today and was bleeding quite badly. I decide it was best to head to the vet for immediate care. I called Haliburton Veterinary Services and they were absolutely fantastic. Samm went above and beyond to provide care and fit Scout in see the Dr! They cleaned her up, and bandaged her extremely well and provided her with antibiotics and pain medication, all for a very reasonable price. I had never been there before and they had never met Scout, but we will certainly be back for regular care for all our pets!

I’ve been using the Haliburton vet since I moved to the county about 6 years ago. I’ve been very happy with the care they have offered my dogs. One of my senior dogs has needed more vet care than we expected and the Haliburton vet has been so helpful. She is recovering from a recent surgery now and I can’t believe how well she is doing!

The staff at Haliburton Veterinary Services are caring, welcoming, and professional. Although we were visiting from out of town we were thrilled to be able to get an appointment for our rabbit within 24 hours of calling (for a non-emergency issue). From check-in, to having tests run, to getting the required medicine: the team was very organized and worked cohesively. The building itself was clean and spacious. We found the pricing to be fair and not overly outrageous considering veterinary services are pretty expensive to begin with.

The staff are skilled but they rip you off with prices. I was charged $100 for a full physical examination, the exam and the booter shot took 7mins and I was handed a bill. Despite speaking with the manager I am certain that exam was not done or not a $100 value.

We had incredible support from the staff and Dr. Sydney in particular when our beloved dog needed care and unfortunately, euthanasia. Everyone was caring and understanding, and Dr. Sydney was unbelievably knowledgeable and kind. She made sure we understood all the options and supported our decision. Her empathy made a horrific event bearable. Thank you so much for being there for our sweet Hali.

Vet Molly and staff were outstanding- so compassionate and professional when we brought our puppy in for emergency care on a Saturday morning. It was a tragic situation and they did everything possible according to our wishes. We were very touched by their kindness. Thank you

Prices here are ridiculous. They charge $50 to fax a prescription to another vet if you happen to be out of town.It’s $25 or $30 at other vets for this kind of thing. My family doctor does this for me for nothing.
