Sandwiches were unique, coffee was good, bread was fresh! The corn and zucchini soups weren’t our favourite but we love the atmosphere of the store

Ordered the parsley and potato soup and the grilled spring vegetable salad. The soup is very creamy and I love the parsley aroma. The salad is also very fresh and the grilling actually brings out the natural sweetness of the seasonal vegetables. The only complaint I have is that they don't open on sunday so I couldn't try other food on my way back to Vancouver!

Amazing. Stumbled upon this place walking by. Went for breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in one day. Friendly staff. Clean and well taken care of. Thoughtful flavour combinations and every dish was a hit.

Amazing bakery. Great coffee, pastries and sandwiches. We came here everyday for lunch during our visit to Galiano this summer.

My partner and I had the herbivore and omnivore sandwiches and we both thought they were some of the best sandwiches we’d ever had! Friendly staff and delicious cold brews.Can’t wait to try this apple gazette!

There’s not many places to select from on Galiano but Oxeye proved to be an excellent choice (better, IMO, than Babes in the Woods’ offerings right across the aisle. Although Babes’ pizza are good).Unassuming, relatively simple, casual and fairly comfortable inside, with careful preparation of quality food (and caffeine selection as needed!). They had some fresh made breads that looked greats, among other items, but we stuck with some light lunch selections, mussels on toast, and chicken baguette (all bread freshly made and excellent homemade spreads). Will definitely try them again while waiting for the ferry back. Just double check their days/hours with your schedule.

Good bakery store with great cauliflower potato soup! Be surprised with their strawberry and lavender ice cream!

No one disputes that the food is wonderful. Had butternut squash quiche with watercress salad for breakfast! Great prices, nice atmosphere, and pleasant staff. Dining in is only one of many imaginative ways to enjoy this chef's fabulous creations.
