Port Angeles is a great jumping off place for summertime hiking and camping up in the neighboring Olympic National Park with beautiful views of Hurricane Ridge to Lake Crescent to Ruby Beach and Kalaloch along the Pacific Coast Drive of Highway 101. This view is Port Angeles Harbor sheltered by Ediz Hook providing safe anchorage for transiting maritime traffic.

Port Angeles is paradise. Fishing, skiing, hiking, canoeing, and much more all within a 20 min drive. This place is very underrated, but I love that about it. Who wants to spend time in paradise with everybody:-)

Visitor center lady was so helpful that she gave us all the necessary handouts and brochures. At the same time, she gave us several places to add our itinerary.

This is my hometown and I won't trade it for anything in the world. I can walk from the mountains to the sea in one day. Our wild game is the best, our seafood is the best, and our produce is the best. You just have to know where to get it all. Mountains to rainforest to the sea all in one day. This is the Olympic Peninsula. There is no where else in the world that offers all of the things you can see, smell, taste, hear, and touch from here on the Peninsula. It's worth your time to come visit. I promise!
