Julie and Richard are great people and when you sign up to get your puppy from them you become a member of their extended family. So far it has been a great experience from the podcast video conferences to prepare families to receive their puppy to the friendly advice and tips, on site visits and rehoming day.

Highly recommend the use of Pferdeland Kennel. Julie and Richard provide both their adult dogs and litters with the upmost level of care, dedication and commitment. In addition, Julie is very knowledgeable of the lives of pups and adult dogs, she willingly shares this information with her clients to help ensure as pup parents you are setup for success. Her setup is outstanding, very clean, organized and stimulating for the puppies and adult dogs. She even provides videos of the puppies throughout their 8 weeks. We’ve had a few dogs in the past but by far Julie and Richard have and continue to exceed our expectations with their love for dogs, dedication and knowledge.

Julie held Zoom sessions leading up to the puppy pick up date which allowed not only the puppies, but the new puppy parents to be set up for success and we cannot thank you enough for the wealth of knowledge, tips and tricks you poured into us. Julie has been incredible through the entire process, sharing a wealth of knowledge and information on all things Shephard and puppy, including care, feeding, socialization and training. She has provided so many resources and access to information to ensure our puppy grows into a confident and happy companion.It has been amazing seeing our little guy grow from day one via the live videos Julie posted daily. He is home with us now and we couldn’t love him more. He is so intelligent, fun, and loving.

For those of you who know me well this will not come as a surprise as I've been looking for a dog for years... Literally. I've found myself at the right time in my life with the right partner to pull the trigger. Once Sarah and I purchased our house over a year ago we started the puppy search. Our breeds were exclusively made up of larger dogs as per our preferences.We found a few breeders for Dobermans, Rottweilers, Labradors and German Sheppard's but we felt like we wanted to have a breeder close to us instead of hours or days away. It all came down to a breeder in Russell for Labradors and one in Curren for German Sheppard's.Julie got back to us within minutes of us reaching out for information and with a quick visit (following COVID protocols) we knew that she was the one who would ultimately hand over our pup.It all came down to her passion and support after the fact. Knowing we have someone with extensive knowledge, connections and experience a phone call away made our decision evident. Heyda will have play dates with her brothers and sisters from time to time in the future.The hardest part of the process was the final wait of 4 months before getting her. Man it was long... but definately worth it!If you're looking... Look no further! Just remember that they vet all potential adoption parents so if you're looking for just a large scary dog look elsewhere.

Words to describe Pferdeland Kennel and Julie : honest, truthful, transparent, caring, nurturing, humble, unexpectedly excellent communication and total INTEGRITY in every aspect of continuing a strong and very healthy line of the GSD . No other breeder/kennel has impressed me this much! I have had the strongest confidence from the very beginning that my GSD would be a stellar example of the breed!
