We took our tractor in to get some work done the summer before last...was given an estimate of around $3000..which increased to $4000 and eventually to $6000 with no real explanation as to why other than they had ordered wrong parts. It was then that I asked how much the tractor itself was worth and was told $7000 and so I made it very clear that $7000 was most we would be willing to put into getting it fixed. They took a ridiculous amount of time to get it done...months...and when they did eventually get it done...they charged $13000....I asked if they could take half the payment one month and the remainder the following month, and they refused...just run away from this place.

Lovely people, but avoid if you don't want to be shocked when the bill finally arrives with no communication on what is wrong even if you wanted to proceed with potential fixes. If you like a correct diagnosis the first or second time then be cautious. Hey, maybe that was my bad luck. We wasted money on two occasions and now have an unsellable tractor. The first time they came out for the fix, my tractor started smoking and could not move up a hill, so I called them back. The second time my tractor started smoking and again could not make it up a hill. We spent 1g on fixes including brand new parts that didn't fix the underlying problem. In the end, we would have never wasted our money on if told the correct problem first place. However they said they gave us a generous discount on all of the labour. It's amazing that people can operate a business this way. If a real business screws up, they fix their problem or say sorry we didn't get to the bottom of the underlying issue and they don't charge you for the extra work. They had no motivation to buy our tractor, which I can understand due to the underlying issue. Plus, our trade value for buying a new tractor was the amount we spent on the tractor in repairs (plus that included a snow blower and mower deck)...seems fair eh

Took my car battery in and parts gentleman help me find a new one fits and works great. Saved me a trip to kingston at a great price. Thank you.

I bought a used Kubota KX080 from these good people over phone and internet sight unseen. After sending me lots of photos and talking a bit, I wired them the money, they arranged trucking and I had the machine in Nova Scotia within three days. It came exactly as advertised and so far I'm very pleased. If anyone else is on the fence about doing this, hopefully this review will ease your mind.

Super easy to deal, Shawn was great and the rest of the team was super helpful. Bought a new tractor and it came when they said at the price that was quoted. I called a few other Kubota dealers but Hartington had the best price and great service.

Great service even after the sale. The best advice I received re: tractor shopping and would like to pass on is go with the dealer you’re comfortable with. I would say it’s more important even than the brand.We dealt with Shawn H at Harrington. Down to earth guy but more importantly follows through! We had our B2601 delivered last week and then noticed a minor issue (that was quite possibly caused by operator error). They didn’t get into a “who’s at fault” discussion. They just sent a mechanic out and took care of it.
