All inspiring. Brought me to tears. I hadn't been to Mayerthorpe in 40 years. I visited with my mother. Two years later I took my daughter to see it. What an amazing way to represent the Mounties by having their statues facing where their from. The park and gift shop was wonderful.

Educational place inside. Informed and kind tendants.Respectfully designed and beautiful monuments outside.My girlfriend and I met here on my way through to use their lawns and immaculately flowered park to have a social distance visit (I live in GP, she in Westlock so was on my way through and about an hour and a half meet for her).My cousin's son (from Manning) absolutely LOVES their park so insists on stopping there to play at that park specifically on their way through.Always clean. Always beautiful. Worth your time to take a break here and learn to appreciate our RCMP more as well as have that chance to stop and literally smell the roses

First time walked in and got greeted right away and the lady offered so much information and guided me to check out the statues and explained it all. Great lady she was.

Been here before. A respectful reminder of the four mounties whose lives were taken. Was surprised that they are charging $2/person now. We did not pay. Walked around the visitor center to the monument. Donations would be better, I think.

I came here to reflect and five thanks.It is a shame that so many gave so much.I was traveling that fateful day to Stony plain and saw the massive police response going to the scene.Never did I think it would be thisThank you all for your service and your lives. They were not in vain.

Fallen Four Memorial Park
Everyone that passes through Mayerthorpe should pay a visit to this memorial site. The 4 RCMP officers were gunned down in an exchange with JR ( not going to mention his name ). This tragedy was national news and sparked a major change in how incidents like this are handled.
