I went to this store to see if they carried any bird toys/treats. I asked a man that was leaning against the front counter with his arms crossed. He answered, with a blunt “no” and a miserable look on his face. I could sense a vibe that he didn’t want me inside the store so I just left.Shortly after, I called the store and asked if they had bird supplies. The woman on the phone mentioned that they have a small inventory but they definitely carry bird treats and the like.I went to the store and she showed me that they do indeed carry aviary products.The man I dealt seems miserable and should loosen up instead of treating potential customers as nuisances.

I've been shopping at this stores for 8 years until today.I was rudely refused curbsideServevice today for not wearing a masking cant wear a mask.i have medical issues.apparently,its their policy.i used to enjoy my walk there since it's close by.ftom now on well go to pet smart.young staff but much more friendly and professional customer service curbside

I am watching a puppy who was chewing through every toy I had! She’s a very busy puppy too! I went to PetValu and asked for help! Jessica and her colleague were so helpful! They gave me lots of options, explained how each toy would keep her busy! Thanks to their suggestions I had all the toys we needed. I was able to make dinner while the puppy was occupied. Thank you!

Absolutely love this location unfortunately I’ve moved to a different city. However every time I’m in Ottawa I stop here. The staff are the best. They’re always friendly and chatty. All of them are very knowledgeable not just on their own products but others as well. They were always so patient every time my son was there even thought he couldn’t pass anything with out touching it.

Horrible service don't buy from here. The employees lie to you to sell items. The manager Lisa does not take accountability and responsibility for her employees mistakes. I spent $100 on an item that the employee told me was 100% refundable in 2 weeks. I brought it back 2 days later because it DID NOT WORK and was told it's not refundable or exchangeable. I spoke with the manager and she didn't work with me at all, completely didn't care about screwing her customers over. All she cares about is making a sale. The employees don't know anything don't trust them EXCEPT for the tall guy who works there, he seems to know his stuff.

The manager is a really nice guy. He sells these beef sticks my dog loves - and I jokingly said we call them crack sticks. She won't even eat other treats if these are in the house. To prove me right, he offered my dog a liver snap (she normally loves those) but she saw the crack sticks I had just purchased and wouldn't take the treat on offer! Well, the manager reaches over and takes a beef stick and breaks it up and feeds it to her while we chat. Honestly, super great staff here.

Great location. Customer service so so but it has everything I need for my two pups. They often times have great sell on specific items for 50% off. Also has a name tag machine but with limited tags on site, you can bring your own.
