A good way to order your own meal. You put whatever ingredients you want into your bowl.They weight your bowl and charge by kg.They will ask you spicy level when you cash out.I like the place that is not too expensive and you have a lot of choices for the ingredients.The store is clean, staffs are friendly, and they serve fast.

Love the soup base, recommend mild spicy, $25-35/pp tax&tip included(additional 10% off if pay with cash). Price is higher than expected: $3.29/100g which means a 60g noodle would cost you $2. So don’t order more than 10 varieties if you’re on budget.

My first time dining in here and it was fun putting different ingredients into a bowl to make a custom mala soup!The price ended up being close to $30 but the quantity was big enough to bring some home.The girl at the front working on Monday was very kind and friendly :) will revisit with some friends!

Just left the restaurant with a large leftover in the bowl. There is a strand of hair in my soup. Told the waitress but she kept offering a free drink as compemsation. I don't need a free drink. This is food and it's disgusting to have human hair in my soup. Plus the way your waitress deals with this hygiene problem is offering a free drink. Gross.

Very fun to choose the ingredients you want in your own soup. The broth they cook it in is lovely, can be quite spicy if you ask for hot. There are condiments at the table if you want to add your own level of spice.

“Soup tastes like chemicals”, no doubt.I saw this comment before I came, but I would still like to give it a try. Now I confirmed the comment with my own experience :(I ordered the minimum level of spicy but it’s still really hot, you feel you stomach is burning after eating them.What makes things worse is that my food got stolen when it’s ready. I have a good memory so I know what I picked and I paid for what I chose, but several pieces went missing when it’s served. LOL.There are huge selections of ingredients and the staff is nice, if you order one soup that’s not spicy, things may be better. Good luck.

Such a rip off!! Way too expensive for this type of food! Taste wise is not bad in general, soup tastes a bit chemical tho. A lot of the ingredients are not fresh, and have been laid outside for too long, you can even smell that something is off. My friend got a few pretty gross bites of unfresh stuff... Don't think I'll come back again.

I love this malatang restaurant. I didn't expect to find it in dt! Eat less than a lot of dishes in other local ahhh, really super convenient to eat with friends, the foreground of little sister elder brother is also very nice, soup is very rich, it is the welfare of the love to eat spicy, like I can't eat spicy collagen bone soup, recommend choosing store price according to weight to calculate, to eat not much is really enough conscience, like the winter to a bowl of malatang reall gooood！
